    AGREED. Literally the only reason I'm putting up with normal villagers is their cute character design. Other than that they bore me to death and I can barely bring myself talking to them. At least in the earlier games (Wild World) they were kinda quirky with a sometimes hilariously ridiculous...

    I really don't think so, and personally I couldn't care less either. I'm fine with the current amount If anything, the personality subtypes just confirm that we're gonna be stuck with this amount and they just don't want us to get burnt out from the same villager types too quickly
