It can be as serious or as unserious idrc LOL. I'm always finding new weapons to play, though I find myself coming back to my main (naut and splatana wiper) So convince me to play your main weapons! Maybe you can recruit others to join your main weapon alliance too

I'll start!

Naut: very easy movements (you can keep your charge while in ink), can keep track of hiding/sharking enemies with its sub, and ink storm can push/displace enemies so they dont stay in one place (looking at you chargers and long-range splatlings)

Splatana Wiper: good range, light weapon, can be used as a sharking weapon too if you're good. decent in 1v1 fights against short-range weapons. beakons are fun to place around and it's more fun when enemies cant see em. also a missile spammer if you're annoyed at enemies also spamming their specials, and it can also displace enemies (again, chargers and long-range splatlings)

You should play Range Blaster. My reasoning: it's very easy to provide value to your team once you figure put the spacing.
The other night I came home from work with a headache and sore eyes and was having trouble absorbing any info from the screen, or even parsing what was happening in the game at points. Still, it was Tower Control and I still managed to do this

Go play splattershot Jr with ink preserving gear and torpedo boost and become an absolute menace who can cover enormous amounts of area while annoying the crap out of everyone with the torps

Alternatively I also like the bubble bucket (forgot the actual name). The aim sucks and so does the damage output and ink recovery but I just love being annoying af sneaking up on snipers and blasting them with bubbles, creating as much annoying chaos as possible so they can't settle down anywhere I have beef with snipers so they are my no1 target lol

Splash-o-matic: It's meta for a reason

Ok but I'm not a comp player lol

Even in casual, this shooter feels so good to wield. Great paint output. It is versatile enough to be played aggressively or in a support role depending on your team. Nothing is more satisfying than dropping a burst bomb then finishing off your opponent. And crab, even with nerfs is still one of the best new specials: It can protect you, climb walls, shoot rapid fire ink and shoot bursts of ink. It's a mecha crab for god's sake! And it's only on 5 weapons not counting reskins. Pick up the Splash-o-matic today!

Inkbrush nouveau is really fun or the splatana wiper—the ones with ultra stamp . Ultra stamp is so fun! I haven’t been playing much with it lately but will once I got its build set. I am starting to like the wiper better because of its sub-weapon.

I'm gonna say it....clash blaster
Ok but hear me out, yeah it may require little skill to use and whatever...but it's so good to use in Tower Control and Rainmaker. Ez kills with enemies. Fast fire rate. Relatively low ink consumption. Fast mobility. Pull out the tri zooker to kill enemies with long range weapons (sorry snipers and hydras). Chuck a cheeky splat bomb hear and there. It's just

Use bloblobber, I assure you it'll be good!

You'll get funny results from opponents getting splatted by bouncing bubbles, possibly getting splatted by sprinklers, and even the rain itself (the ink storm range is pretty small so there's a huge chance they can dodge rain.)

You can try the Rapid Blaster. It's one of my favorite mains in Tower Control. I will say, people will begin to hate you real fast when you show you're a big menace and make a beeline for you (any blaster understands this, lol).

Ink Mine isn't great, and I sorta panicked placing mine down, but it's good at stopping Ultra-Stamp users/marking people in general. I like the Triple Inkstrike a lot, anytime I can lob a bomb at someone is a good time.

And yes, I'm that boblobber user in that clip. As I mentioned in my above post, it's a fun and funny weapon to use in battles. Seeing one get splatted by bubbles is a funny concept.

Use the Luna Blaster Neo with Ninja Squid. My reasoning: It can two-shot if you have decent aim, and Ninja Squid helps you sneak up on the enemy team. The special, Ultra Stamp, can be used to help defend your team. Even though it's a short-range blaster, the damage it can do more than makes up for it.

are you guys playing splatoon 3, Im talking about splatoon 2 here and i hope its applicable to s3

Main weapon: Splat Bomb. So any weapon you like that has that sub splat grenade where you must have at least 2-3 (3 is better)main gear ink saver sub and at least 5 ink saver sub small bubble. Personally I like to have at least 1 ink recovery up small or 4 small bubble ink recovery up. This set up lets you throw 2 Splat bombs and obviously recharge for more bombs. If you go full ink saver sub on all 3 gear slots maybe with a couple mis-match youll get diminishing returns for its effect, better for other powers. I like to use special charge up 4 slot gear.

This works for suction bomb too, 2 throws. Works for Burst bomb at 3 throws, requiring 3 main ink saver sub and 5 small bubbles minimum. 2 toxic mist throws. LEss useful for torpedo because you can only have one in the air at a time. 2 curling bomb throws.

The Splat bomb does the most damage offering 3 throws
