do you guys use scented candles? over the past few years ive tried various brands from mass produced (the good healthy ones) and artisans and i realised that i always gravitate towards scents that imitate food. right now my fav scent is Buttercream from Yankee Candle! Yankee produces a lot of seasonal scents too and i love their christmas scent especially the food ones. mmm
 
Yeah I've had quite a few candles from gifts, and I also use them for light in place of lamps sometimes, and definitely all the best ones I've had were from Yankee. I usually just get berry related scents since I like the fruitiness, but I do like Fluffy Towels as well for a much lighter scent. In terms of my favourite, I'd have to go for Christmas Cookie, since it just smells sooo nice. It's a shame that it's only sold at Christmas and is usually very popular, but I guess that's for a good reason.

i dislike midsummers night. Its too strong for me and smells like colognes. I generally dislike colognes.
 
gotta stick with the Yankee Candle fans.. either something super sweet (like the christmas cookie or i think vanilla cupcake?) or something fresher. clean cotton has always been my absolute FAVOURITE!! even if I don't buy candles all that much they sell reed diffusers and the like with that scent so I tend to always have one :love:
 
my favourite candle is Teakwood & tobacco scent by P.F. Candle Co.

I generally choose musky/heavy scented candles,

My parents love Yankee Candle. I can't recall all of the scents I've ever smelled there, but I think there was this Christmas one that smelled like a certain tree. Also, I like sandalwood, too.
 
I don't go after a certain brand really since they can be expensive, but I don't doubt their quality. I do have little Yankee candle tea lights and they smell really good.

I can't go wrong with a simple lavender scent, it's hard to mess that up.
 
Depends on what story theme I’m thinking about. Right now I’m on woodsy smells but I’ve also loved oceanic scents.
 
I prefer light floral or more woodsy scents (sandalwood in particular). I prefer using scented candles in the winter!
 
There’s a local candle shop near me that has all hand made soy candles, and there’s one called “laundry day” that smells exactly like Snuggle laundry detergent. It’s absolutely amazing!!!
 
I'm not familiar with scented candles enough to distinguish brands, but I do find them calming. My favorites tend to be the vanilla-scented ones as well as anything lemon-scented.

However lately I've been unable to use them because they're apparently toxic to birds, and I wouldn't want my birds getting sick or worse. Sacrifices must be made, I guess.
 
I love cinnamon scented candles. I don't know any of the brand names. It's just around December I sometimes smell scents like that in some stores and it's just so nostalgic and yummy.
 
I love scented candles and scented incense! My favorite scented are usually have music and cedar in them, so they usually tend to smell like cologne.
 
I am personally partial to Bath and Bodywork candles, but honestly it’s mostly for the artwork 😂 As for scents, I have one Christmas candle that smells that fresh baked snickerdoodles. I absolutely love the smell, but it always makes me want to bake cookies when I sit near it lol.
