So, I was walking through the parking lot to work this morning and a dragonfly darted in front of me. My first thought was, "Where's my net?" Then, I realized this was real life, not Animal Crossing.

Has anybody else had any moments like that where the game and real life got fuzzy for a second?

I do that with cockroaches.

Not really with Animal Crossing...but one time when playing Star Fox on the big screen and as I was piloting Fox's Arwing, I stared to lean left to right like I was dodging the enemy's fire. And then I was like, 'Wait, why am I dodging?'

Whenever I see shock images of huge bugs on reddit, I can automatically name them because of ACNL. Kinda proud.

Whenever I see a particular fish, I just point out and say "Oh look! It's that fish from Animal Crossing!" Yet, it actually helps me identify different species.

I make drawings of my villagers and talk to them if they already got bored of me in the game lol

Yep! It certainly happens. The little things in life...

I once drove past a row of saplings that had been planted in a grassy median strip, and noticed one of them had broken in half. My first thought was, "Oh, that's sad, because if they plant a new one to replace it, it won't grow." Then I remembered that ACNL tree-planting logic does not apply to real life. You can, in fact, plant a tree in between two existing trees.

I don’t go into situations that make people think I play ACNL too much, but I do have a picture of my mayor as my iPhone wallpaper.

I was watching American Horror Story: Hotel, last night, and said out loud that they should have furnished the rooms with the Rococo set.

Wouldn’t say I played it too much but it’s still a funny story. I was playing 1, 2 switch with my sister and on the signal flags they said “Right!” And I rose my hang up! We were cracking up but at first I didn’t realize lol

The reason I can identify most bugs and fish is thanks to animal crossing. XD

I used to play it too much many years ago, now I play it daily but only for about an hour. I know I played it too much in these years because everytime I see a tree in real life I feel the urge to shake it and i picture piece of furniture falling off of it :D

A month or so ago I saw a bunch of furniture left on the street near where I work and I wanted to put it in my pocket.

Back when I first started playing WoW, I was driving and drove past a pretty house on a hill and was mad I couldn't adjust the camera angle (that is to say, my windshield) to see it better.

My 3DS charger has been non-functional again...but I got so used to morning AC that I've inadvertantly been seeking out more blogs and LPs of it at that time. I can't help it, I need the aesthetic.

Today I wondered something about trees, and thought that they only take few days to grow... Then I realised:rolleyes:
