Pokémon Yo, help me decide which game to play tonight

I'm getting seriously nostalgic for pokemon lately and I have two games I haven't wrapped : Black 2 and X.

I'd like to wipe the file and restart on one of them tonight but I can't decide which one. Which has the better gameplay? If the Black 2 is for DS and I'm playing on a (old) 3DS, will that mess up the quality enough that gameplay will suffer? (I realize I could just test that out myself, I guess). Which game did you like better?

Obviously the graphics for X are way better and there's more features but when I started it I didn't like how dumbed-down it felt, like it was the first pokemon game that made me feel I was too old to be playing it. So while I'd like the trading and inter-user features of X idk if I might just have more fun playing Black 2 in the end.

Go with Black 2 and playing it on any DS system (Original DS, DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL, 3DS, 2DS, New 3DS, New 3DS XL) won't hamper the graphics at all. I play older Pokemon games Diamond up on my New 3DS XL all the time and the graphics are just fine.

Black 2 , much better storyline and pokemon! The villains and storyline are amazing.

Yes, I have to agree with this too. Way, way better than Pokemon X and Y by a long shot

I agree with the two above. Black 2 had a better story and better pokemon, but if you want an easy one go with x

I wish I'd waited and seen these responses, I went with X. It's not terrible but I definitely remember why I didn't enjoy it as much the first time trying it out. Oh well. I'll keep going with it but then definitely head back for Black 2, thanks everyone for the input
