WOOT!! I just escaped from a blue shell, I was in a Coin battle when a Blue shell was coming, luckily I had a mushroom and just when the blue shell was above me, I used it, ahh it was awesome!!

Has anyone else escaped from a Blue Shell?

I have a couple of times, I don't think it was a mushroom that saved me though.

I dodged bob-ombs which has an explosion like a blue shell. I just have good luck when it comes to getting good items when in need (usually).
I also am able to block myself sometimes from red shells with no item. I just swerve back and forth and hope it hits something. I seem to be successful on that usually too.

I escaped a bull shell like 5 times in my life.
I freaked out b/c i still dont know how to do it.. it just happened.
