Yeah, that was awkward......

So I'm island hopping (trying to find a wetsuit) and Club Tortimer sent be back to the same island I had just departed from. And the same people were there too and they had said hi to me, but I didn't say it back before I departed, not out of rudeness it's just they said hi right before the boat dragged me away. So when I appeared back on the island it was completely awkward.

This game is bent on teaching us manners and that just proves it 100%. It's kind of funny, thanks for sharing, I had to laugh.

Usually, I'd say hi back or have small conversations with people but the game took me away before I had a chance to do or say anything. Besides I try not to stick around long enough on Club Tortimer because people start begging for bells, fruit, furniture or clothes.

i've only been to club tortimer once and it was a surprise to see people asking for money!!! i have not been back since bc it was a little scary

I just ignore them when they ask for money or anything else, especially since most of the items in this game are easily obtainable. Shoot, I barely have the stuff they ask me for, so I sure don't have any extra to spare. I have a total of 50,000 bells in this game right now.

Unfortunately I had the same issue, but in a different language! They were following me around in a different language, confused I left the island, and landed right back on it! I was so embarrassed and felt upset that I was not able to communicate back ):

Whenever I've island hopped, I'm never in the same place twice. ^_^

I'm sorry that happened. Yeah, the language barrier can be a problem on Club Tortimer. Once I landed on an island where they were speaking French and I don't understand a lick of French. lol
