I reset my town, thanks for your contributions. :)

Hey,

I'm new to the forums and I'm not sure if this is the place the start a thread but I've been wanting to hear someone else's opinions on whether or not I should reset my village.

It isn't the first time that I've wanted to do this and unfortunately since my original reset of my very first village, I haven't been happy ever since. I'm not fond of the rock placements, my current villagers or the general layout of the map. The only thing which ties me to my current village is the progress that I have made, although compared to my older village and a lot of other players, it's nothing to boast about.

I'll leave my dream address here in case anyone does want to give their insight. If I reset my village I'm going to attempt to plan everything from the very beginning instead of rush into the game like I previously did.

Dream address: 6000-4800-7472

Thanks for any input.

Im going to say, since you're considering to reset already then your mind is already made up and prepared to change. It's weather you like to challenge yourself and try and work with what you have or just make yourself relived knowing that you get to start fresh…!

Well, if you plan on putting in the effort to plan out the next town, I'd say go for it. My original town was great but I didn't even reset once to get the right layout so I just took what the game got me from the very first start up. Stupid mistake on my end, but I got very far in that town.

However, I was very discontent with how the town looked the longer I played and the more I looked better towns, the more I wanted a change. So, I took the step and reset it. That town was a total bust too. However, I'm on my third full reset and it's the best and luckiest town I've ever had. It's a keeper for sure. So, I say if you're ready to take the time to plan what you want, I think a reset may be for the better.

It can take a lot less time to make back your progress than you think too! So no worries about that. If you don't like your town now, it'll only get worse the more you sit on it, so I think you should go for it :)

There's actually a specific thread for this kind of topic.
But I've said it before, and so have the others here.
If you're already thinking about resetting, you might as well.
It's already on your mind, and you're probably going to point out every little thing that you don't like, just to try to convince yourself to reset. I know that's what I did.
So, I would have to go with yes. Reset.

EVERYONE THERE IS A THREAD FOR THIS PLEASE POST THAT THERE! Thanks!

Relax.. not everyone sees it and it isn't a huge deal that this thread was created.

On-topic: If it makes you unhappy, reset. I did the same thing earlier this month and haven't regretted it since.

It's much easier than trying endlessly to fix it or buying a new one and letting it sit...thinking of one of my own I say go for it.

OP, you should reset. Have a holder to save all of the villagers you want, reset, and then begin with your new map. If you're unhappy with your map, then definitely reset.

I didn't mean to sound rude. I was just saying it in caps so they would notice it. But whatever.

Go ahead reset. If you want to do it.

I'd reset. Definitely because you're already thinking about it. If you're considering it, there are obviously some things in your current town that you don't like. It's better to be happy with your town. The hard work will be worth it. :)
