Yes MMOs do that. I don't play them anymore because they have become ********...well mainly the free ones... same old same old... So If I start back up its probably going to be WoW. But just to play once in a while... because it is fun... xDZephent said:Got sick of it at 70, raiding to get better gear to raid to get better gear.
Leveling and gearing yourself that way was fun, but endgame content all sucks.
I played the WOTLK trial and got to 71, that was fun, and I love the achievement system, but they totally screwed over my class (Warlock), so eh.
Maybe ill go back to it one day, but ill probably just end up quitting once I hit the level cap again.
I feel I should add MapleStory and World of Warcraft both drained a substantial amount of time from my life I will never get back, I dont know if I should play MMOs anymore, haha.
Most free MMOs (MapleStory, RuneScape, LaTale, Silkfroad, Flyff, Archlord, Mabinogi, etc) all have some sort of premium user thing that you dont HAVE to use, but if you ever want to enjoy the game youll pretty much need it.Megamannt125 said:Free > MMOs that you have to pay for.

Before you start bashing something, it helps if you state why.
It seriously deserves the bad rap.Zephent said:WoW doesn't take people's lives, its only as addicting as you let it be, just have some self control.
If people are going to not play WoW because it will steal your social life, then you're the type of person who would let that happen, and something else will just take your social life down the road anyway. WoW gets a bad rap that it doesn't deserve.
