I saw a blog on tumblr about amazing wonder trades, and I was wondering if anybody on here has had any good (or weird) wonder trade experiences.

I haven't found any great Pokemon on wonder trade yet (really hoping I'll get a shiny one day), but I today I got a Golem that somebody caught with a Master Ball. Not sure why they wasted it on that. That's about the only interesting one I've had.

Lol I still have a normal old Seviper that I caught back in Pokemon Emerald when I was about 10. She was caught in a Masterball... -_- I was totally new to Pokemon then though and didn't understand how useful the Masterball was and that you only get one. I've smartened up a lot since then thankfully.

I also haven't gotten anything too overly exciting from Wondertrade. I have given out a few nice Pokemon though. Since I collected so many Pokwmon for my living Dex I had many extras (some of which were hard to get and high level), so instead of releasing them all I wonder traded them thinking that maybe they could really help someone else out.

Also just yesterday I wonder traded off a bunch of my Pokwmon teams that I kept from my older games that I reset. They were just taking up space so off they went. Beats releasing them.

If you want a shiny from Wonder Trade then try doing it on a Wednesday, "Wonder Trade Wednesday" is a bit of an event where people are encouraged to trade good or at least interesting pokemon. I sometimes try to participate in making it interesting with little themed trades like a bunch of 5iv adamant Hawluchas named Ziggy each holding stardust. Last Wednesday I traded a bunch of 5iv Haunters and 4iv HA Kadabras with fire/ice/thunder punch egg moves and I received a 3iv modest HA shiny eevee.

Well, they named the Zigzagoons Ziggy and they were holding the Stardust item. When you put the two together you get Ziggy Stardust which is another name for Daivd Bowie a famous Classic Rock musician.

My friend and I have gotten some weirdly named Pokemon. We've gotten "Dat Herb Doe" (Oddish) and a random assortment of others.
There have been a few times when I've gotten shiny Pokemon from Wondertrade, but it's horrible when they're named badly
It's super cool to get awesome Pokemon with good IVs

Oh I actually just remembered to add to my first post the best thing I got from Wondertrade was a Kyogre shortly before ORAS came out. It was really kind of the person but it was too bad, as I have the old 3rd gen games myslef and already had a Kyogre at the time but hey.

I got a Haunter that was holding an everstone. It's nickname was litterally "U Mad Bro?"

I got a legit(at least I assume it's legit) level 58 Japanese Diancie with the Trainer ID "Movie Theater" or something like that along with the proper event pokeball. I already have a level 100 Diancie that I trained up myself, so it wasn't all that helpful, but I guess it's nice having an extra there in case I have friend that would like one.

I also got a level 100 flying type as well, although I can't remember which one it was.

Also obtained a few starter rejects from IV/shiny breeding, as most of them I got had pretty decent stats. I've had several of Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur.

You cant trade events on wondertrade unless someone used a hack to get it.So much for being legit..

I got a shiny level 100 groudon. I don't know too much about hacking pokemon, but I'm pretty sure it was hacked. The pokerus it came with wouldn't transfer properly to my other team. Also it was a lvl 100 shiny groudon so lol

I've been doing a lot of Wonderlockes and Wonderwedlockes lately, so I've certainly encountered some interesting trades.

During a Wonderlocke, I got a shiny legit Sylveon (I'm not too big on shinies, but this was the first shiny pokemon I ever got through Wondertrade, and it was a Sylveon to boot, so it was pretty cool)...also got a bred Snivy with the Contrary ability in that same 'locke (it was legit, as the Contrary Serperior event had been going on for at least a week or so in ORAS).
I believe it was the same run where I got a bred Tyrunt with Bite, Ice Fang, Fire Fang, and Thunder Fang. In another run, I got a bred Tyrunt which had Dragon Dance instead of Bite, and the other moves the same.

In a Wonderwedlocke, I got a (legit) Moltres...which I unfortunately had to retrade, because it's genderless.
In that same run, I also got a level 100 shiny Kyurem...obviously hacked, and also genderless. However, I didn't retrade it because I didn't want to send a hacked pokemon back through the Wondertrade (I just felt it was wrong). I know folks are gonna go agro on me for this, but I just released it.
Same run...another hacked shiny, a level 100 Linoone. I knew it was hacked because...come on, a level 100 Linoone? Shiny to boot, so yea...hacked. Nothing wrong with Linoone; I took one through the E4+Champ in my first nuzlocke run of Alpha Sapphire, but nobody would spend time to get one to level 100, shiny or no.

For bad trades...I have been on the receiving end of Magikarp (multiple times)...and I'm sure we've all received our fair share of a bug infestation at some point or another.

Silly trades...I have gotten hilariously named pokemon, but the names are a little inappropriate, so I can't share them here.
If I'm doing a Wonderlocke, I typically try to either name my pokemon "Wonderlocke", or something silly (appropriate-silly; for example, I named a Graveler "Pet Rock", Fenniken "Fox Says", and Marill "Pikablu"...etc). I mostly do that for pokemon people don't really want to see or receive (I once had to trade a male Combee, and named it "I'm Sorry").

I got a beldum from wondertrade once... The person who sent it had the message "Breeding for a shiny!"

I can only imagine her frustration when that shiny beldum event for ORAS was announced...

I got my copy secondhand and the guy who sold it to me hadn't deleted his save file, but he had some amazing pokemon; high level everything, all the eveelutions, mewtwo, there was a level 98 arcanine I think, stuff like that. I needed to delete his file to start my own, so I wondertraded them all out on Christmas Day - I just like knowing somewhere there's someone who got a high-stat Mewtwo completely randomly on Christmas. I've never gotten anything like that, though, just the usual.

Other than that, just a bunch of lvl 1 useless things like Zigzagoon and Zubats
