Wisp Bug?

I just gathered Wisps' pieces and chose a brand new furniture for my prize and for the first time ever, it gave me a duplicate item I already had, a squat toilet. Not even in a different color. I know for sure I did not misclick because even the dialogue said along the lines of "even if you have everything, this should be something you don't have." And I definitely do not have every furniture in the game either. I'm missing some antique pieces as well as rattan pieces and some random stuff. I just wanted to know if anyone else had experienced this as well?

I don't think he actually gives you something you don't have, as he says he doesn't even know what you have. I think the option you pick just determines the value cap of what you could get.

He has given me stuff I own. He even gave me the same item in the same color twice. He even admits that he is bad at it. It's all rng

He didn't say "this should be something you don't have", he's pretty much saying "I actually don't know what you have, but this should be okay" just like the expensive option gets "I don't really know what's expensive or not so here's a friggin' literal garbage bin".

The option seems to be weighted in favor of new stuff but just like the original game's Wisp it's not a guarantee.
