If you haven't heard of it, if you register Super Smash Bros for 3DS, Pokemon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire before January 12th you can download a free game.(Details here)

Personally I'm stuck on what to choose out of:
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
Yoshi's New Island
Kirby: Triple Deluxe
Mario Golf: World Tour
Mario Party: Island Tour
Pok?mon Art Academy

Red = Owned (MH3U on Wii U)
Blue = Unsure

So really I'm stuck between Yoshi's New Island and Kirby: Triple Deluxe. They're both easy-ish games, IMO, but I'm stuck on what one to get.

is this only for the uk?

If you're stuck between New Island and Triple Deluxe, I'd say go for Triple Deluxe first and then get New Island later if you still want it. I've got both games. Triple Deluxe was great, while New Island was kind of disappointing. (ALSO THERE'S LOTS OF KAZOOS)

I'm not too fussy on either to be fair. I'm not a fan either but I don't want a sports game or an art game. A lot of polls on other sites say Kirby Triple Deluxe.
Thanks for your input, I'm still considering.

is this only for the uk?

I searched up the answer and it says:
"Nintendo says the offer is only open to customers in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Switzerland, South Africa and Russia."

So American's aren't eligible.

You also need to register a 3DS, XL or 2DS in this period. I'm not sure if you got a new one recently, but that's what turned me off from this promotion. The only game I'd be interested in getting would be MH3U anyway, since I have zero interest in Yoshi's New Island and already own the other titles.

Anyway, I'd recommend Triple Deluxe. It's standard Kirby fair, but because of that there's also a bunch of secrets to discover.
The only other one from your list that I'd kinda recommend is Pokemon Art Academy, but that's only if you're wanting to learn how to draw, because it goes pretty far with how many skills it wants to teach you.
Mario Golf: World Tour is kinda cool, but the fact you have to complete dumb challenges to unlock new courses is kinda off-putting.

Also backing up Kirby: Triple Deluxe, it's a pretty amazingly fun game. I really love the Hypernova ability and the side games are pretty fun, especially the Smash-eque Kirby Fighters! Really easy game to 100%, though hunting down all the Keychains will probably take you a while.

Out of Yoshi and Kirby, I would say get Kirby.

I assume you're in the UK, and Kirby Triple Deluxe is still close to full price in most stores both brand new and preowned in the UK (including online stores).
You can easily find Yoshi's New Island pretty cheap, especially pre-owned. I got it a month or two back from GAME for ?15. It's not worth getting it for free when it's relatively cheap anyway compared to Kirby.

Yoshi's Island is pretty darn fun. It's REALLY easy outside of one or two somewhat tricky obstacles (they're a rarity though) but it's a really fun game either way.

BUUUUUTTTTTT.....I'm a fan of physical releases and prioritize those. So in this case, I say go for the games you wouldn't buy otherwise, then you're not losing anything but might find a new game you like.
(If I got the free Kirby, I would definitely end up buying it anyway later, making the free copy sort of a waste xD)

If I get ORAS after Christmas (to be eligible since I have Smash already), I may end up getting Pokemon Art Academy, Mario Party or Mario Golf since I would NOT buy them otherwise, so I'm not losing anything buy getting a free download of them.

Looks like I'm not eligible for it then...

I shouldn't have registered my 3DS...I've been eligible for NONE of the promotions for it...

Why only UK?! I wanted Kirby and art academy. But I guess you have to have a 3DS too so doesn't even matter

Yeah I should have saved my 3ds code for an actual promotion too. Think the only one I have participated in was the Fire Emblem/SMT4 gift card.
