Will the Fishing Tourney eliminate the Valentines Day event?

I'm saying this because what if you don't get anything from the mail and get chocolate hearts from villagers at all due to Fishing Tourney.

Also what if you don't get Hot Chocolate instead of Coffee at the Cafe due to Fishing Tourney.

I'm worried about the Fishing Tourney screwing up Valentines Day, is this true?

Unfortunately, yes. I have always hated the Fishing Tourney, and now this just makes me loathe it even more.

Nothing really happens on Valentines though. Villagers don't even mention it. You mainly just get letters. Your villagers send you presents depending on which animal you are the closest to, so you guys won't be missing any big events. You should also still get hot chocolate at the roost so the Fishing Tourney won't affect that either, don't worry guys.

You only get the gifts with the mail and I can?t remember the villagers mentioned anything about valentine last year, Isabelle isn`t even outside the town hall if I remember correctly. It was somehow disappointing.
