Will talking to your villagers nonstop make them hate you?

Sometimes villagers will take notice of the fact that you're chatting with them a lot, and make a comment about it before you talk with them. I was wondering if talking with your villagers too much would make them hate you or something? I heard that constantly starting a conversation then pressing B when they ask if you want to chat made them hate you, so I wondered if actually just talking to your villagers non stop would have an effect on your friendship?

I hope not because I don't want Rosie to move out :V

I don't think villagers will hate you when you talk to them so much in a short time period. They do, however, start to have thought bubbles over their heads and will start to walk around thinking other things. At that point, they don't hate you, they just need a few minutes to refresh their minds a bit and eventually, they will be open to talk to you again. But for some reason, I have Deirdre who goes into this state even though I only spoke to her a couple of times. This was a rare occasion, so I don't know how it happened.
