Just a tip! On the island, only go after 7pm. The beetles will come out, and so will the emperor butterflies that go for 2k each. Another "trick" is to cut down all trees on your island besides two palm trees left and right of the grass part, so you can run back and forth and reduce the chance of other bugs being on the trees. Also, if you see bugs crawling around, chase them away! They take up bug slots, so less likely to get beetles. Chase away hermit crabs too!
