Nothing. Just more stuff to prevent hacking and the only reason you'd want to update would be to keep access of the Wii Shop Channel.
If you have homebrew or plan on getting it I'd suggest to not update, although there are ways around this.
If you don't you might as well just update to keep access for the Wii Shop Channel.

4.1 still doesn't interfere with bannerbomb, so it's fine. Other than that nothing changes.
