I don't know if it's a glitch or not, but when I visited my second town, I was curious to see if the player can actually exchange items with a villager, during online play. What I noticed is that you can exchange, but there is no exchange animation for it, when you're on wi-fi. The visitor will see the host and villager just standing there.

Yeah most emotes between NPC and actual players are not viewable over Wi-Fi
You'll just see talking bubbles.

Also, when you hold your net up to catch a bug by holding A, the person on the other end won't see it. They'll see you with your net, but not holding it up.

Yes what the two said were true. I had someone come over for signatures today and I saw speech bubbles and a lot of emotions. Emotions are viewable, but some actions aren't, like handing over presents. When he was over and was handing over the signature paper to my villagers, it looked like the villager was pulling an invisible ______.
