I dont tend to get attached to villagers, nor do I really even have dreamies or trade for them. I believe in letting villagers come and go as they wish, and honestly I dont really interact very much with them outside of when they ping me. Except for one... Beau. Hes my best friend villager. Ill send him letters, mail him gifts, talk to him every day and just chat it up about village gossip.

I ran past him this morning, and he hit me with a ping. I thought oh thats nice he noticed me, lets have a chat or Ill run an errand for him! But no... he asked me to move out! Hes never asked me that before, and it caught me off guard. Were as close as can be, but he wants to leave me and the town Im working so hard on beautifying?!

I told him no, he shouldnt move, so he resigned to stay with me in my tiny town of Ploofia.... but its too late, the damage has been done. My heart is broken. I fear my friendship with him will never be the same...

It's pretty annoying when that happens. Bettina and Carmen asked to move a few times, but... I always say no, 'cause they're my town favorites. Hopefully, they'll always stay...

Aww, that's sad that he asked to leave and even though it is random it still feels badly. I do know how you feel. One of my fav villagers Fauna asked to move out the other day and it made me sad. It seems like all my favorites ask to leave, while the ones I WANT to leave have been in my town forever

I would looooove to be able to "lock" in villagers. Either by high friendship levels or just a setting. If I could do that I would likely seek out dreamies. But as it is now, I go through phases with the game and I would hate to work so hard on getting villagers just to have them up and leave when I'm on hiatus.

Oh I'm with you! Purposefully melodramatic or not, I get seriously offended when my favourites ask to leave. Especially Genji/Erik/Stitches. It's like why would you want to leave? I have created a lovely atmos for you, I've given you a town full of cute neighbours....I even waited for 15 minutes in my house for you to turn up for our play date, only to leave to come and find you and be told that you're sorry you couldnt turn up *stares at Stitches*. Now who is it who she be wanting to leave town? I deserve a badge or something for being the mayor of a town full with villagers who are always planning a mutiny
