Why won't my campers move in?

Do you have 10 villagers already? Are you losing the games they play when they consider moving in?

Nope. I have 9. It's Wolfgang and he didn't ask to play games, just if he should move in.

Apparently posting a thread about it along with stalking him works. Even though stalking didn't work for the other 9 I wanted. Must have been the thread...

it took a long time for me to convince kabuki to move in from the campsite.
he would say something like "man, something is drawing me to this town. maybe
i'll stay..." and i would say "yeah, stay!" then he would be like "nah, just kidding."

i had to talk to him a thousand times and play 3 games with him before he finally
caved and moved in on top of my perfect cherry tree.

I thought they would just play games with you. I didn't know they could be difficult.

It took me ages to convince Pecan to move in, she kept saying she would miss her old town too much but after playing 3-4 games i finally convinced her when I won a game of charades.

Chrissy did the same thing, you just have to keep trying :3 Normally when you're just about to win you over they'll play rock, paper scissors or charades with you:3

Just keep speaking to them. If they refuse, keep trying and eventually they'll play a game to see if they'll move in or not. Usually RPS, or charades. Don't worry about losing since you can always try again. It may take a while but you'll eventually convince them.

I had to reset to get Peaches to finally move in.
