Why won't Cyrano ask to move?

Everyone else has asked to move except for Cyrano D: I need him out so I can finish my cycle for Poppy, and then I can move in Lolly from my second town, but he just won't leave.

I talk to him everyday and nothing D:

It's pretty much random. That, or maybe if you have other existing characters, they haven't talked to him which won't cause him to move (this is just my guess since I couldn't get Friga to move out when I didn't talk to her on my other files)

It's random who pings, minus the friendship factor and all that. Keep tryng.

Agreed. Altho I don't have DaCoSim's extensive cycling experience, the times I do work long and hard to cycle I have also found this to be a problem for me. For some reason in some of my towns that 10th villagers is just plain stubborn.

This isn't necessarily true. Peanut had literally just moved into my town, and 2 days later she pinged me to try and move. It's completely random really, so there isn't much you can do. When targeting villagers to move out, I prefer to TT a day at a time, rather than using the fast cycling method. This way you build friendships with the villager you want to move.

It depends what cycling method you use too.

I have the exact same problem with Phil. I'm trying to befriend him now because it's usually my best friend villagers who ask to leave. But I hate doing this because I'm not overly keen on the smug villagers' dialogue.

I would make a new character then talk to someone you like each day and keep TTing ahead
That's what I did and Klaus moved out but Julian also moved out so it's risky
