Why hasn't anyone pinged?

I'm trying to get my third villager out for my cycle for Poppy and I've TT'd about a week and a half and no one has pinged me to move D: No one has told me rumors about anyone moving as well and I'm worried if I skip a day, one of my dreamies will be gone :c

Villagers sometimes don't ping for a long amount of time but the longest I think I have had is 6 - 7 days. My friend gets pings only about 3 times a month so I guess its just random luck.

If no one has said any rumors, double check by talking or going past all your villagers with notice to see if they ping. If they do ping and its not a moving ping. Save and quit the game and load it again. Keep doing this until you have checked everyone.

Another way is time traveling ahead and using a new character to see if anyone has moved. Whoever is moved is your mover and just time travel back a bit till they appear back in your town again (check they are not in boxes). I have never used this trick because I am time travel cautious. But it does work.

Maybe that may help you. I don't think you are near a glitch.
