Why can't you trade tickets?

I've seen threads locked and I was just wondering why you can't trade tickets? I don't see any harm in doing so.

It defeats the whole purpose of collecting tickets.

Buying/selling tickets is an unfair advantage to those who have a lot of TBT bells and in-game bells.
By making everyone earn tickets, it is more fair gives everyone a level playing field.

Also, there's a limited supply on the larger prizes, and I don't think they want people getting those instantly.
