Why can't I update my cycling thread title?

Okay so I've had a cycling thread since March of last year. And normally whenever a villager was in boxes I'd just change the title and it'd be updated right away. However, I took a break from cycling a few months ago and came back only recently.

I fixed up my thread and started up again, updated my title around 20 minutes ago saying Pietro was in boxes. But the thread title still hasn't changed! Like, I see the different title when I go on the thread, but if I check the Trading Plaza subforum it still shows the old title with no villagers moving out...

How long does it usually take to change? Could it be that my thread has messed up from months of inactivity? Should I just make a new one?

edit: I edited the title for this thread and it updated just fine. So I'm thinking my old cycling thread is somehow bugged...

You're going to have to make a new thread. You cannot change the thread title on a thread that is older than six months. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

yeah, for whatever reason i dont know or think of, you cant change the title after 6 months. shouldve posted in the ask the staff thread and not in a semi-unrelated board
