I'm just curious who is excited for Luigi's mansion remake coming to 3DS in October this year! I'm so happy since Luigi's Mansion is my favourite game of all time with ACNL being second but I hardly ever play it because I have to get the Wii out. Since Dark moon was horrifying (get the pun- horror-fying) and much worse than the actual game I hopet hey just stay as close to the original as possible! I'm also really excited to try out the boss rush mode since my one wish from the original game was to be able to fight all the portrait ghosts after you beat them in a boss rush sort of style! Let me know your feelings about it since I know many switch owners are disappointed because they put it on the 3DS but I'm glad because the 3DS is my fav console!

I never got the chance to play the original, so it's piquing my interest. I imagine it won't sell well, though, so I'll pick it up when it becomes super cheap.

Meeee. I hope they optimized the cameras for real this time, I tried Dark Moon/2 before and it had controlling not for a 3ds. But I will probably buy it regardless since I want it, and to support the 3ds.

And yeah I'm glad they are doing it for 3DS rather than Switch, I mean even more reasons to support the 3ds and free internet connection. Sucks they had to make TWEWY remake for Switch though like wtf the OG was a DS soooo...

I'm sort of conflicted, I'd prefer if they remade it for the Switch instead. I still haven't finished Dark Moon.

As of the moment, I'm rather indifferent about it. I've owned the original Luigi's Mansion since it first came out, and I actually did another playthrough of it a couple years ago around Halloween. I still enjoy the game, but since I already own it and that version allows me to play the game on a television screen, I don't really see a point in purchasing it again.

I never managed to get very interested or far in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. That sorta hampers the potential for excitement too.

Honestly, considering it's a remake of the original, I feel like it would make more sense for the game to be on the Switch. It seems like a waste to have that GameCube Controller Adapter only work with Super Smash Bros. when this would be a perfect utilization of it as well, but then again I just really like the GameCube controller. Not that it ultimately matters in regards to me though, as even if it did come to the Switch, I probably wouldn't end up purchasing it anyway for the previously established reasons.

I hope that the game ends up being worth it for those who have never had the chance to play it before.

My sis doesn't want to play that game so I won't have no one to play it with, so I'm not getting the game. But I wish I have someone to play the Luigi game with.

I dunno if the game will even be multiplayer since the original wasn't but I hope there's online play because I'd love to play with some friends online becuase my family isn't interested in Luigi's Mansion.

I see where you're coming from but I think they are putting it on the 3DS because newer gamers might not have played the original and nintendo doesn't think enough people have a switch yet. That's just my point of view. It would be cool being able to play the game on the go and on your TV though.

That's actually a good plan. I think I might do the same thing so I don't spend like triple the price on the game when three months later they'll be trying to get rid of it. I can't wait to play it!

I say it should have more then 1 player mode because Luigi Mansion is the type of game for more then 1 player.

They may put multiplayer in. I personally think that the best thing about the dark moon was the scarescraper mode. I hope they add multiplayer but I think it's quite unlikely if they're trying to make it as close to the original as possible.

A bit bummed out that it's for the 3DS since I've pretty much completely moved on to the Switch. It's nice for the people who still play on their 3DS though, but I just can't help thinking how awesome this would have looked on the Switch.

Yeah, I can imagine how it feels not playing a console anymore then suddenly Nintendo releases the best game ever for it. In a way, I'm kinda lucky that I don't have a switch because of this.

Ngl when saying I love the salty fanpeople for this. Like man 3ds is not dead yet and I suppose lots of people still play their 3ds if anything.

I'm definitely looking forward to this! I loved it when it came out and as good as Dark Moon is, it's just not as special as the original! DEFINITELY getting it!!:D

I would be more excited if it was on the Switch. I tend to not finish a lot of my 3DS games. Like the Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon game I still haven't completed.
