Who was the most recent villager to move in and how do you feel about it?

Fauna moved in, which would have been fine, except she moved out the same day and left a glitched house in her wake for over a week. Luckily I was able to force her house out with Amiibo.

Mathilda. I'm....not sure. Her design is fine, neither ugly nor cute IMO, but I do find the joey in her pouch a little off-putting. It was my fifth tour of the night looking for a female villager and she was the first I got and I want to go to bed.

Tangy just moved in on my island. I’ve never had her before, and didn’t know what to expect....

But she’s quickly become a fav of mine. I couldn’t be happier! She’s sweet and her house is so cool.

I love Tangy so much congrats! Second fav cat villager/second fav villager overall for me. Hope you enjoy her!

The last villager to move onto my island was Lobo, he's probably my favourite wolf villager! Hoping to get Audie sometime in the future too. Her design is really nice and she's peppy.

At first I thought he was one of the annoying Power Ranger villagers, but was extremely delighted when I realized the shiney head was his head and not a helmet.

Filbert. One of my favourite villagers of all time and I've had him in my New Leaf town for seven years. While I adore him I'm having second thoughts on having a villager I've already had before.

I have two of my NL villagers and feel odd about it too--and one of them is Filbert. He and Celia were both in my NL towns and they were the first two villagers I met when I did my first mystery tours so I invited them to move in. Part of me felt like I should keep going, and part of me felt like I should honor the RNG and take them.
