Who thought Summer went by fast? Did you make the most of it?

I still have a month of summer left. I just really want to start going to the pool/beach more since I didn't go at all yet! I pretty much 'wasted' my summer so far on the computer and New Leaf, but I don't know if that's a bad thing or a good thing

Summer is actually going by so slow, which I am happy about because I dread the first day of school every year, but after the first day it's all a breeze. This Summer has been great though, I've been swimming, having fun, playing New Leaf, working out....it's just been an overall blast. I also better finish up another chapter of my summer assignment this week though. :/
Then, there's some fun events planned next week and in August-Early September is really fun as well.
Only a month left, but gee August is actually really fun. I am going back swimming after I finish typing this anyway,

i'm veryyy excited to start high school in the fall, so i don't mind my summer being a bit short. i don't start until September 4th, i believe. so i still have a little over a month to do the things i planned. including going up north to see my grandparents, going tubing on my friends lake, newleaf, cedar point, blahblah.

I'm starting high school this fall too! I'm gonna be a freshman xD. I'm a bit excited I guess but the summer has gone wayy to fast. I'm not ready to go to school yet. For me the first day is always fun, but not the rest of the year. Actually today is EXACTLY 1 month before school starts for me.
yayy we're both freshman~! omg imma be one of those kids that gets pummeled on the first day. like. 2 seconds after walking in. that's just my luck, lolol.

It's been flying by fast, but I've tried my hardest to transition into adulthood while staying emotionally and mentally stable.

I probably will be too, so you're not alone xD. When does your school end though? My school year usually ends the first week of June.
That excitement may change your sophomore year. By then I was ready to leave, but then again my school is filled with a bunch of rich, snobby morons (I'm not generalizing either), so anyone would be ready to leave. Maybe it'll be different for you all though. I'm excited to be starting my senior year!
Oh yeah, those of you starting high school, please do not get wrapped up in dating. High school guys and girls are childish for the most part and don't know what they want. So don't waste your time. GET GOOD GRADES.
While I live in a heavily north shore area (That's what me and my friends call snobby rich people. North shore people) Most people are really nice. I don't think I'll get in to dating until my junior year. It's still to early to get serious about it. But, I'm a bit apprehensive about high school. Everything REALLY counts now. So i'll be focusing like mad. People say I'll be fine because I'm a straight A student but i don't know...

Went by way too fast, barely do anything but sit around! D: I am very finicky on what I actually WANT to do, so often times I am sitting around with video games and I want to go somewhere, but as soon as me and my family can go somewhere, I really don't want to leave the house xD So yeah I feel bad about myself because I have wasted my summer on video games and its going by too fast >_> I would go outside, but we don't have anything to do out there but have an occasional bonfire. We don't have a creek, nothing. Just a yard, a volleyball, and a frisbee, which I got bored of last summer because I used them so much lol. And I don't like going outside alone, (nothing to do alone, try playing with a frisbee by yourself) and my brother won't go outside with me. Sometimes I ride my bike with my friend which is fun and all but we don't get to go often. I feel like such a hermit, and I need to get out. I also don't like socializing with anybody but that particular friend, and my other friend who lives farther away. (we have a merged school district between a few towns) If I see someone from my grade outside of school, I go all-out to avoid them, pretty much. -_-
It ended the second week.. I see now, that makes sense. xD Your starts earlier, but mine ends later. Hmm.
And yeah, I'm big on grades as well. Straight-A student, but who knows how much harder it'll be. I'm even in Honors Biology. I'll probably be doing more homework than playing ACNL or hanging with friends, but, -shrug- if that's the way it has to be, I don't mind it. I'm gonna be a doctor anyway. Better start the intense study schedule now. |D
I'm excited to start school in the fall as a junior. I go to a private high school where everyone is nice and honest, and all that jazz. This was probably the best summer of my life. Friend-making camp, CAD camp, AND church camp. Also going to canada for the first time in august. Also moving early september and starting school september 8th. I start really late and end really early. Also been working out at gym, swimming, and doing karate (have done for 6 years now) about 3 days a week. The only thing I will miss is not being around people. They're nice at my school, but I have mild autism, so a little bit of a social problem at times. It'll still be great to go back to school though!
