I'm gonna put all of the NPCs in a positive and negative perspective because all of them are my favorites, except for two, and I wanted to share what I see in all of them.
Isabelle -- Forever my favorite (and only) secretary. I honestly don't know what I'd do without her! She works her tail off at all hours of the day, every day (literally), to ensure everyone else's happiness. And she's adorable. The girl deserves a HUGE reward for everything she's ever done for me. Her only flaw is the PWP annoyance. Like, c'mon, Isabelle... let me put my windmill here. I don't care if it's 0.00003 centimeters too close to the river.
Resetti -- Okay, this guy hates my guts. I reset purposely every time and will tell him that, every time. Why? Because his outburts make my day. I find them absolutely hilarious and I love how he gets worked up about it. His flaw is, of course, he can be incredibly annoying, especially if you're trying to do something important and he pops up to scream at you.
Digby -- I wish he had a bigger part in the game tbh. From the dialogue at the RV, he seems to love his job and love going to the office each day. I wish I could see that lol. He seems to be a hard-worker, just like his sister. He's a sweetie. His only flaw is that he won't give me ANY showcase homes (except for my sister's).
Nat -- he's better than the fish beaver but I hate him
Fish beaver -- I forgot his name. Not Pascal, the other one. I hate him. So much. He just... he eats the fish... LIVE. RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR FACE. And then, if that's not bad enough, he proceeds to BELCH in your face. Gah.
Pascal -- He's adorable and gives you cool stuff for Scallops. His flaw is that the first time he popped up in the water, I screamed. He needs to be more careful.
Kapp'n -- He's a good family man who loves his wife and daughter as much as he loves the sea. His flaw is... the songs can get annoying, man. And don't yell at me when I try to skip it.
Kapp'n's family -- I love 'em. Super sweet. The little girl has an adorable speech impediment, Grams has tons of cute furniture, and the wife (forgot her name lol) is very sweet and social.
Tortimeir -- I like his old man sense of humor, but his jokes can be very cringey sometimes.
Dr. Shrunk -- He's a horrible comedian but he never gave up on his dream. He's an example. Plus, he teaches you some cool emotions... if you can handle the horrible jokes he tells you.
K.K. -- Is there anything bad about him? He's a cool dog. AND he'll sing you K.K. Birthday on the Saturday night closest to your birthday (ex., if your birthday is on Monday, April 16th, he would have sang the song on Saturday, April 14th at the club). He's one cool dog.
Blathers -- Seems incredibly smart and it's kinda fun to go make the museum full, and you feel super accomplished when you're finished. But honestly, Blathers, I don't care if that Whale Shark I just gave you reminds you of that time you were in your mother's nest or whatever. Just take my shark and let me go.
Celeste -- Adorable. She loves astronomy, works hard, and seems super sweet. She seems to ramble a bit though.
Timmy/Tommy -- Aspiring to be like their father, if that's flaw enough for you. But they're cute.
Tom Nook -- Okay, I get that everyone hates him and stuff, but I really like him. He's honestly a lot nicer than real-life business men. He doesn't even make you pay interest on your loans, nor do you have a due date on them. You could never pay your final loan and he wouldn't say a word... and your house would be completed! I do hate that you can't renovate your exterior while getting a house upgrade, though.
Lyle -- He rambles too much about stuff I don't care about. But hey, he gave me a high score for my home, so...
Lottie -- AHHHHH She's so cute. And is no one going to talk about that crush she has on Digby??? How cute is that??? I love everything about her, AND she's a good Interior teacher. She has no flaws. She is perfect.
Phineas -- I get happy every time I see him walking around cause I know he's gonna give me a badge. I love the dude. I wish I could hug him. It is a little creepy that he watches you all of the time, though. But, be honest... don't you feel accomplished when he hands you the badge you've been waiting for?
Sable/Labelle -- Super shy but once you get to know them, they're honestly the nicest people in the game. Plus, they always stick together and have a strong bond with each other (and Mable). How is that not admirable? It takes awhile to get to know them, though.
Mable -- The only Able Sister in the game that's not super shy at first, AND the only sister you can get an Amiibo of. I don't like her more than the other two, though, because you can't unlock her friendship... she just hands it to you. Does that make sense?
Gracie -- She's annoying but has cool furniture so it's forgivable.
Rover -- no
Porter -- He gets me from point A to point B pretty easily. But he doesn't really give me a reason to love him.
Reese/Cyrus -- OTP. Lovers of recycling so you know they treat the environment well. Plus, they're super cute... and you can get a lot of money off them.
Booker -- he has anxiety and he's trying ok
Katrina -- She's awesome. Her little fortune teller yEEEEEEeeeee thing is really cool and I always get excited when she shows up.
Redd -- I honestly like this guy. Idk why. He reminds me of Creed from The Office. But he can scam you so buying anything from him is a bit of a risk.
Harvey -- I love having conversations with this dude. He's totally chill and once with nature, and he sits out there every day, rain or shine, and breathes in every moment of it. But his shop kind of sucks.
Leif -- He has some cool start bushes but he honestly creeps me out...
Shampoodle -- She's so cute ahhh. I love how she calls you sugar. But it's kinda easy to mess up your favorite hair-do if you don't have a guide/haven't memorized it.
Kick -- He has the best store music in the game. But all he sells is socks/shoes... I mean... who needs that?
Phyllis -- I love her. I like the mean ones. Her flaw is that she won't get with Pete.
Pelly -- She's really nice, but I honestly don't know that much about her. She's just... the post-office lady.
Pete -- Poor guy. He just wants to get with Phyllis... maybe in the next game, buddy.
Brewster -- Just like Sable/Labelle, you've gotta work for his friendship. I like that. His slow talking kind of gets annoying though, but I do that IRL so...
Am I forgetting anyone?? Also, these are just my opinions...
