Who is your favourite and least favourite NPC?

I think my favourite is Porter. He's adorable in his little outfit and he always seems very sweet. Plus I feel like he doesn't get much love despite always working and getting you where you want to go.

As far as least favourites go, I'm going to resist the urge to say Phyllis (because she's mean and actually laughs whenever I use sad emotions) or Nook (who's greedy and likes to pressure me into more and more expensive home renovations). Instead I'm going to go with Digby.

Why Digby, you ask? Its very petty, I assure you. Its because Digby has never, ever shown me a happy home in the Happy Home Showcase. Not even once. He just stands there in the background every time I go shopping on Main Street, silently mocking me from afar. And when its raining? Even worse! How am I supposed to maintain my dislike when I feel sorry for him... Just... Just standing there... In his little rain slicker... And his boots... And his sweet puppy face...

...Oh Digby! I can't stay mad at you... Not when its raining...

I actually can't stand Porter. Every time he's asked to do his job he gets real disappointed about it. I mean I can relate, lol. But like, come on, I'm not asking him to actually drive the hecking train. I'm asking him to connect to the internet, which is already connected to the DS, thanks to me, myself, and I. And he's gonna act like it's an Ordeal. Like me hanging out with pals is a Big Thing. You know who doesn't complain when I want to travel via wifi? Kaptain Kreeper. That's who. Porter is one "Eek" away from getting fire.

Favorite is probably any of the Ables after that like 7 day grace period where you have to charm their spines off. They're nice but not too nice. To the point, but not curt. They process my transaction and don't make a fuss about it when I want to save a pattern, or insult me when I don't want to make a purchase (Gracie).

Actually my favorite is Kappa Grandma. Grams, thanks for being the only Island character that rocks my boat.

Oh my gosh, how did I forget Grams?! She is one spunky old lady! Plus she's got all the good stuff, so good idea keeping on her good side

I never thought of Porter as being disappointed in having to do his job before but you're probably completely right. I feel so vain and silly but I always saw it as being more disappointed I was leaving... Or that maybe he was a bit attention starved since no one ever visits him except as a way to visit other towns... Its funny how head canon can really change the way you see things...

I agree with you. He sure is cute with his raincoat when it rains, but I'm a little disappointed he got such a tiny role as a new character. And the fact they put him stand there whole day every day alone!

I think my favorite NPCs are Sable and Katie. They both are really sweet and kind. Tortimer is also worth mentioning, he's a funny one, enjoying his retirement.

I don't really like Chip and Nat from Fishing tournament and Bug-Off. Maybe that's because they're gonna EAT the prey we are going to give them! I'd like to mention Lyle too but... Shh!

This is the exact reason I'm hesitant to build the reset center. Its like, Listen dude. I'm the flipping mayor in thses parts! I can play my game any way I want and no amount of scolding will stop me!!!

My favorite is DEFINITELY Katrina. I'm super into astrology myself, so a super cute and quirky villager who's basically an astrologer? I think yes.

I think my least fave is Redd, he's just way too problematic to be likeable imo.

Actually, I like all NPCs, the one I don't like so much is Cyrus. I could never really make friends with
him. But it's not like that I hate him, he's just that one NPC which I wouldn't call my favorite.

Choosing a favorite is really difficult! I love a lot of the NPC's but if I had to pick a favorite, I think it would have to be Celeste or Rover. They're both so cute and I love Celeste's passion for the stars. I wish that she still had her role as it was in City Folk where you could make custom constellations to appear in the sky on certain dates

My least favorite is definitely Resetti. Can't stand him, his role is so annoying even though it's important to save in Animal Crossing. I regret building the reset center in my main town.

My favorites are probably Porter, Resetti, Phyllis (yeah I like the mean ones they're not bland), Harriet, Celeste, Booker, Copper, Dr. Shrunk, Harvey, Leif, Brewster, Pascal & The Able Sisters.

As far as NPC's I really can't stand

Badge Guy, I don't even know his name but he's freaking creepy. Isabelle because she's just annoying and a pain in the butt. And most people talk about how selfish and greedy Tom Nook is, but Tortimer and all his island family are pretty "greedy" in the same way.

I think my favorite NPCs are Pascal, Celeste, and Katrina but out of all of them, Pascal would be the favorite. I love his silly philosophical quotes and it?s always a pleasant surprise when you find him. Best of all, he gives you cool furniture. Consider yourself truthed.

Katrina would be my next favorite. For some reason, I always imagine her having a voice like Shirley the Medium from Courage the Cowardly Dog. Can you see the resemblance? XD

As for least favorite, I guess Digby fits? It?s not like I hate him or anything, but his role is so minimal and doesn?t have much unique dialogue aside from talking to him via the RV. I don?t hate any of the NPCs, they?re all charming in their own way. Hopefully the next main game expands their roles.

Oh I forgot about Rover. He?s cute but a little too creepy. I guess constantly plot resetting made me see him in a more annoying light. Ah, memories.

I wouldn't say I hate anyone, though when I was younger I used to despise Resetti because my DS was very old and used and would crash all the time so I would have to listen to his sermons even though it wasn't even my fault.

I really like the more quiet ones like Brewster (love the way he moves his tiny glasses and his eyebrows instead of blinking) and Sable. But I also actually enjoy listening to Lyle talk, especially when he tells stories about Nook.

They're kinda like an old married couple.

Leila is my least favorite. She's an annoying brat who will offer to buy your items at an abysmal 5% of their normal price, then cry and call you a bully when you refuse. I don't like whiny kid characters to begin with, but Leila gets on my nerves particularly.

My favorite is Resetti. The scenes in the Reset Center are hilarious.

Also, am I the only one who likes Phineas? I think he's a genuinely nice person.

Phineas is just doing his job. It's probably Resetti shouting at Isabelle that it's time to dispatch him. He does track every second of your game play. I mean he's not my fave or anything, but I don't think he's creepy, like the actual creep at the dock who likes to hit on you and tell you to go away with him and sings the worst songs and would probably tell you 7 hours worth of unfinished war stories in between naps.

Phineas is just the AC world's version of that one dad who is a scout master and takes boy scouts maybe a little too seriously. But he seems like a nice dude. Like he would teach you the best ways to toast a marshmallow to perfection and how to survive in the wild. I dunno, I think he gets a lot of flack for just being a dude who helps you decorate your scout vest with flair.

Also does no one just hit the option for my "my batteries died" on the Resetti menu????? I feel like I'm the only one who must be doing this because everyone also hates Resetti and look I get it, he's kind of an unlikeable dude. But like, if you just hit "my batteries died" it takes 20 seconds or less to speed through the text and he's gone.

But you know who the real mvp is? Harvey.

I do hate Pav? with a passion though since HE TALKS A LOT AND YOU CANNOT SKIP and also gives doubles... wmh so yeah least fave for sure
