Who is your #1 favorite villager of all time? And why?

My favorite villager can change pretty often, but right now I think it is becoming Astrid again, as she was for a big chuck of 2015 and the beginning of 2016.

I just find her so sweet, motherly, and loving. On my 17th birthday (which was June 9, 2015), she was the one to bring me cake in City Folk (which I haven't played in a few years), and host my party in New Leaf (which was a in town that has been long since deleted).

I also remember she would give me medicine for my beestings, worry about sick villagers (before this was taken out) and tell me she would take them medicine.

When she noticed that the train station was busy, she would worry about her close friends moving away.

I was lucky enough to get her Amino card, when I ordered a few off of Amazon earlier this month. I really hope I can get her in New Horizons! <333

It's still Rosie for me because she's one of my best starters in my town and she's simply the cutest. There are alot of other villagers i really love but she's still #1 for me

My favorite villager has always been Grizzly since I played Animal Crossing on the GameCube. He was a starter in my first ever GameCube town, back when the villagers were actually grumpy. I went to talk to him and he told me to "Get lost!" or something like that. I immediately knew that I had to make this grouchy old bear love me, so I showered him with letters and gifts and did every favor he asked of me. I finally did wear him down and he became my friend. It felt so great and I have loved him ever since that first moment when he made me realize that I would have to work to earn his friendship.

Velma!
- I didn't think much of her at first but over time I grew to love her!
- I adore her appearance, she's pink and cute and has adorable glasses!
- My experiences with her are that she's very nice! She's a snooty but a rather nice one
- I love her house, it's always fun to walk around it and look at all of her pretty furniture and music instruments!
- I LOVE her so much!! I love seeing what she has to say and talk about, and her catchphrase "blih" is adorable to me too!

I liked her since the Gamecube version when her name was 'Hazel', she's so cute and sweet..to bad she's overshadowed by Poppy and other normal villagers that many people give too much spotlight to.

Teddy, he was a starter in my first town! I just let him stay because his house looked nice and I got super attached. Also from him I realized jocks have a surprising amount of dialogue about romance and kisses?
I think that's why I'm not super into dreamie lists, because my favorites come to me naturally and unexpectedly. My second fave is Roscoe, I had fun earning his friendship in WW.

Purrl, purley for all the nostalgia back from when i started my very first wild world town. i am also a massive cat lover (soon to be crazy cat lady haha) and i liked how she was a bit rude and playful but deep down a sweetheart.

Beau for sure! I don’t know. He’s just adorable. He moved into my town before I even knew he was popular and this was back when I time traveled in like 2013 and I got the message he was moving. I was sooooo upset. I learned you had to cycle through 15 or so villagers before you could get them back...so I spent forever doing so and finally found him and had to pay 10 million for him lol. But he’s been in my town since. I hope I can get him in new horizons as well. My town won’t feel complete without this little deer.

I also love Rex and was beyond excited when they brought him back with amiibo cards. (Hope he returns in new horizons) He was my favorite in GameCube and I’ve been bummed every game since because he was taken out. So I like him for sentimental reasons lol. Plus lions are my favorite animal.

In my second town, it's Mint, due to the sweet memory with my friend at the time and the mayor from France who gave me his Mint. Mint still shows me the letter from previous mayor which reminds me of this kind mayor.

My favorite villager is Lucky because my first dog is named Lucky. Acnl is the first Animal Crossing series game I played. My first town had Lucky in it. He moved out from a time traveling mishap but I got him back in a different town.

For me it's Punchy. I've only had him in Pocket Camp, but I really like his design and attitude. His lazy eyes and constant :3 expression are appealing to me. Cube would be a close second because he was my buddy in New Leaf. Sadly he left but at least I got his picture.

Mathilda!

It's so weird how she gets a lot of negative attention, as well as the other snooty villagers. People always have negative experiences with snooty villagers, but Mathilda was nice to me at the very start - she always gave me good advice and always gave me medicine when I got stung by bees - and I fell in love with her instantly!

I love when we adopt well-loved villagers from mayors who sent them cute letters and gave their town nice tunes! I really enjoy those conversations when they sing their tunes and show me sweet letters. :') Most people don't like adopting villagers because of them talking about their older towns but I personally love it. (Unless they send them nasty letters, which is sad :<)

Mine is Dizzy, same reason as most. He was in my very first AC game from the beginning and I grew very attached to him! When I started New Leaf years later he showed up in my very first New Leaf town as well! His simple look and big round eyes are so adorable to me.

Cookie! She was one of my first villagers in my first town and I absolutely love her. Peppy villagers are not my favorite, but she holds a very special place in my heart with all her excitement. And pinkness.

 

[Mayor Monday]

Mine is by far Eunice, for various reasons:

1. She was one of the villagers I loved most when I first picked up City Folk. She was the darling old lady in town, and I'd always take care of her.
2. She's a normal! Normals get old fast for me, but Eunice is special. I only pay attention to her if she's one of the normals in my town, so the normal personality seems like it's 'hers'.
3. I can never get enough of sheep- in real life and in game. They're so sweet looking. I mean, come on- Eunice's face it perfect, lol.
4. I still love the original illustrations from the Beatrix Potter books, and Eunice feels like a character from one of those stories. The realistic animals dressed like proper people is so charming. Eunice fits the bill.

She may not be for everyone, but I think she's one of the most lovely characters in the Animal Crossing series.

I also have a strong attachment to Roscoe!

For New Leaf,my favorite villager is Joey but for Animal Crossing overall,I'd have to include Pinky.Pinky was an original villager in my AC Gamecube town and I was happy to be able to get her in one of my New Leaf towns.I like Joey because I he reminds me of a toy rubber ducky.
