Never taught about it but now that you mention it, it has always been Eugene who tells me when someone is thinking of moving.

I unfortunately never decided on a dedicated informant and as such have lost one of my dream villagers, Eugene. I was trying to make room for Whitney to come in by forcing Fuchsia out, but Fuchsia kept refusing to ping to move. I talked to whoever I could as I time traveled, but no one gave me any hint of Eugene's intentions until Isabelle told me this morning that he's moving out.

I think, in memory of Eugene, I'll make Whitney the new informant when she moves in.

This is very much not true. If there's a rumour about you, someone else could very likely still be moving. IMHO this is the best rumours guide out there:

My go to news reporter is Wolfgang, as he's the only original resident left in my town. If he's the one moving, then he'll instantly ping me because I always go to him first - unless, of course he's inside his house. Then I go to Julian for my rumors. xD
