Who is excited for the update?

Ok so I have been doing my animal crossing homework and have found out about some exciting news. The update will be released late November and also there will be over 50 New amiibo cards. This means that there will be quite a few new VILLAGERS. Two villagers I have already given interest to are Vivian and Ellie. Ellie is an adorable elephant and I'm hoping to get her in my new town. She is the cutest thing ever! And Vivian is a wolf. Vivian is a female wold who had a cute hair- do. So who have you been doing research on? And are you excited?

I just deleted my town a few days ago, and I'm not so sure if I'll want to get back playing New Leaf once the update happens. I'll still try to collect Amiibo Cards just in case I want to get back.

I dunno if "excited" is the right term for me, but I'm definitely curious how the update will affect gameplay and the like.

And yeah, like someone else said, this is just a way for Nintendo to renew interest in the Amiibo cards and figures. I recognize it for the (hopeful) cash grab that Nintendo wants it to be.

Which isn't to say that I won't be asking for a LOT of cards and Amiibos for Christmas, because heck yes I will, lol.

I am very excited. I might see if there are any amiibo cards cheap somewhere so I can get exciting new Villagers. The only thing I regret is that I just bought ACNL last month, so if I had waited I would have been able to buy the game with the update built in (I assume).

I'm really excited. Since they're coming out in late November, I suspect that they'll be released just in time for my birthday. Hopefully I can get my hands on a few.

I'm one of those people who can't have just a few amiibo cards, I need all of the amiibo cards. I'm collecting them right now to prepare, and I can't wait for the new villagers.

It's just a way for Nintendo to get more money and it's gimmicky as hell. I'll probably get any items I want via trading online. I'm not about to start buying cards. I really wanna be excited but Nintendo is going down a really stupid road. Gaming in general is downright depressing these days. I like buying a game and owning everything in it instead of throwing my money away on stuff that should already be included. Yawn.

I'm definitely interested in the new update, but I agree that it is just a way for Nintendo to make more money using amiibo cards, especially for those who don't own a new 3ds or the scanner. I am excited for the new villagers, Ellie is super cute! I do think it is a cheap way of getting villagers into your town but none-the-less, it is exciting to see a relatively older game get an update and I'm sure I will enjoy it!

I'm interested, take my money. Already bought two new packs of cards. I honestly don't care about gettng new villagers or new furniture, my two towns have all my dreamies. I just want to experience new game play and am PSYCHED about these camper vans :O

I am mixed. If there will be new villagers that will be exciting. My son has HHD and has tons of cards and also has the reader converter thing(I forgot the name of it and really to lazy to look it up but it's a White round device). I doubt I will actually buy any of the cards or anything for myself but my son will probably want them so he might get them from his dad for Christmas. I just got my 7th cartridge that I believe is the compatible version for getting the new furniture that you will be able to get with some of the amiibos. That is also really the only other thing I find exciting.
