For me, it's Steve Jobs. I want to be the next Steve Jobs in the future. I want to create something I really believe in like he did. And I have a chance since my IQ is so high. And don't say him inspiring me is cliche just because he's famous, because some famous people are good influences that people pass by. So, who inspires you the most? :)

EDIT: And no, I don't really care that people say he created a horrible company. Heck, I don't even use apple products at all. In the long run, the only thing about him that inspired me is that he created something he really believed in, previously stated. Most people nowadays aren't nearly brave enough to do what he did. Honestly, the tons of reviewers that describe him as a jerk are the cliche people. If any of them ever become famous one day I hope people bash on them too.

I'd have to say my biggest inspiration would have to be my Forensics teacher. She really helped me decide that forensics and criminal justice was what I want to study and make a career out of. She was the coolest teacher I ever had and every student respected her because she respected us. This teacher would joke and talk with us when it was appropriate and then go right back to business when necessary. She was incredibly educated in her feild and I'd like to be just like her.

I don't get inspired by anyone in particular. Instead, I'm inspired when someone is just able to do something extremely smart in such a short period of time. Dunno how to explain it really but when Dexter is trying to get out of a jam right after he killed someone or some player juking out some guy on a FPS are some examples.

Bradley Manning, Daniel Ellsberg, Julian Assange, and any whistleblower or journalist or devoting their lives to truth

More coming up:

  • Ang Lee
  • Fran?ois Truffaut
  • Frank Capra
  • Robert De Niro (my favourite actor)
  • Julianne Moore (my favourite actress)
  • Alexander Payne
  • Peter Weir
  • David Cronenberg
  • Charlie Chaplin
  • Woody Allen
  • Robert Altman
  • Sidney Lumet

And, most of all, though I might have listed him already, ROMAN POLANSKI!

One of my all-time favourite filmmakers as well as one of my role models for the film business. Some of his films include Rosemary's Baby, Chinatown, and The Pianist. I just love these films so much. But then, he was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl, and now, he can't do any more movies in America because he fled to Europe. This is why he couldn't accept his Best Director Oscar for The Pianist, which was such an amazing film. If I could find a petition to set him free, I'd most definitely sign it.

While that's definitely wrong and gross that he raped a 13 year old girl, he's still a great director. But yeah, if he broke the law then he definitely deserves to have to flee. Not to mention that he probably messed up the girl's life if he took her virginity. I think signing the petition is the only thing I'll disagree with you on so far, unless he's innocent.

I'd say it's wrong, but he's had such a tragic life before this happened to him. And I do believe he's innocent, but then, if he wasn't, then I don't know what to think. But I'd still love his films anyway.

Yes, regardless of everything else, his films are awesome.

Why not try to be like Bill Gates who actually does something for the world. The amount of charity and humanitarian work he does is astounding. He is constantly trying to do things like create better toilets that use less water, better condoms, and stopping Malaria. The difference in donation and charity work between these two is disgusting. Steve Jobs was a greedy *******, Bill Gates is trying to improve the world.
