Just curious to see how many people actually still try to complete a Living Pok?dex these days.

I just completed mine for the first time ever a couple months ago. Have everything except for Hoopa and Volcanion.

ORAS and XY actually made it super easy with O-Powers and Blissey Secret Bases.

I've never completed one, unfortunately. Just don't have the willpower to do so. :(

I would like to complete it, but i'm too into making competitive teams then completing the Pok?dex.

I haven't but it is definitely something I want to do someday. I have completed the National Dex on Platinum and Black 2 so hopefully it won't be too hard. Especially with Pokebank, it seems like a great time to do so. Unfortunately willpower is low and I'm not feeling Pokemon playing right now. :(
Also my X version had a lot of stuff which is lost. </3

I have one on my Y game. I did it like 1 and 1/2 yrs ago and thenn I just shoved them all into bank.

Never have, but it's been something on my to do list honestly. Any time I completed the National Dex I had done quite a bit of trades.

I completed my living dex back in Pokemon X, which explains why I have over 500 hours on that game. o.O I spent hours on the GTS, breeding and raising Pokemon. Since Pokemon ORAS came out I have moved my living dex over to Alpha Sapphire. Not only do I have a complete living dex but I also have all forms too ie. (All Vivillon patterns, Flabebe colours, Deerling seasons etc.) the only forms I don't have are minor differences like Pickachu's notched tail or zubat's fang size as I see those to be redundant and it takes up way too much space.

I don't see the point in doing it. I'd rather invest my time putting together a good team. After 600 hours in Pokemon Y I still don't even feel close to having my ideal team made.

I never have done that, but I was close in Emerald. I needed only 9 pokemon to complete the pokedex at the time, but I didn't have a way to get any of the pokemon I was missing onto Emerald.

Never. It's such a time-consuming and difficult task that I often get bored and give up.

Shiny Charm. Now whenever future generations come along and I just have to use Pok?bank to transfer them into my new game, add the current Generation, and I get the Shiny Charm. Not to mention completing regional Dex gets you Oval Charm which increases Egg chances. Helpful when breeding.

It's easier then ever nowadays. Transfer Pok?mon from past Generations, uses O-Powers and Blissey Secret Bases in ORAS and boom. Done i no time. Went from 200+ to complete in less then two weeks.

But, you can only do it once a day... And the infamous (Come back tomorrow)

I think I'm only at the third gym (if that) in ORAS, heh. Had it since launch too haha.

I had one in FR, it was gen 1, 2, 3...all complete with all the events at that time. I lucked out & found some not so legal events on a used cart at GameStop, but I was happy with them.

I haven't cared enough to redo one now...

I think you can have up 10 QR code Secret Bases, so that's up to 30 Blissey's everyday. 5 Pok?mon in your party to level up (you need one to beat everybody) at time, it goes quicker then you think.

I got one in Pokemon X, before the Blissey bases :D It's really useful for helping people get the shiny charm really quick, with Pokemon Bank. I'm pretty proud of mine :)

I completed the National Dex on Oras but i didn't make a living one yet,i plan to do it before the next game comes out,im pretty close already anyway.

DPP i completed thru hax. I believe I did the Kalos dex in B2 for Shiny Haxorus, and I'm pretty certain I did it in X too (actually, I'm pretty sure I completed the National Dex in X), and ORAS I only need a few legendaries and Kingdra and I've done the Hoenn dex.

I completed the OR/AS PokeDex over the summer, which was only a few months ago. This is the first PokeDex completion I've achieved since HG/SS.

But yeah, imo it was totally worth it for the shiny charm, even if it took half a year for me to collect all the Pokemon I needed. Though I did take a lot of breaks/not work towards PokeDex completion for a majority of those days, so really the amount of time I spent on the project would probably amount to one month. It's not hard at all due to the GTS/ease of trading, but it does take time and patience, haha.

Yes, I had a living dex in all games until X and Y, where I am missing clawitzer and something else.
