i reset my town yesterday after taking a very long break and want make my new town pastel pink, fairytale themed. i want to have some villagers in mind to look for for this town. currently on my list is rosie and peanut. does anyone know of some good ones to look into putting on this list?

I know this isn’t helpful as it requires an amiibo, but the Etoile villager from the Sanrio amiibo set is to die for. She is my favorite right now (of all time!)
On sites like ebay you’re able to get these amiibo tags (not card*) for very cheap. I wish I could have you use my amiibo to move her in, unfortunately the game doesn’t like that. But if you’re determined for your town, I hope you’ll consider my comment as well.
Again: I am SO sorry this is a niche post! I really do wish I could just give her to you :/ And I second everyone else’s comments - they’re all great. I especially love Apple as well hehe
Also, if you have the Sanrio cards, I second Maruchan's choice for Chelsea. I have her in Sanbrook. To make things better, she unexpectedly moved in right next to Diana, who I also recommend, so they're kinda like cute little deer sisters.
I recommend Diana, Flurry, Julian, Blanche, Celia, Fang and Ruby! They're all really cute and bright villagers.
If you have the Sanrio cards, I recommend Chai, Marty, Etoile and Chelsea, they're bright and pastel-like villagers as well, but all the sanrio villagers can be "fairytale" because of how bright they all are, but that's only if you have the cards. (I bought some fanmade ones on etsy!)
