Which villager did you not expect to find?

My favorite find was Bob after a session of 60 or 70 tickets. During that session I turned down Julian and Fang, then I had an hour drought of finding really mediocre villagers (mice, kangaroo, cow onslaught). Bob finally came after I was about ready to pass out from exhaustion, and I was extremely happy. 
I wasn't really expecting to see lucky as my first island ticket. It was cool chilling with him for awhile.
Mainly I wasn't expecting Raymond to move into an empty plot in my second town. I'm not really feeling him so I hope he's not repeated in my main town when I get a camper one of these days (only personality im missing is smug).
I can only imagine people assume you go to great lengths for him when they see them in your town...but I'm just kinda side-eyeing him like your time is temp buddy.

I found Judy as, I believe, my fourth villager which was a super pleasant surprise ;w;

It wasn't though the Campsite or Mystery Island, but just an open plot and the RNG assigned her to me, but it was Judy. It was so early on in the game, I think my 6th villager?
I almost cried, because I wanted her so badly even before I got the game, as I had her in Pocket Camp, but knew she would be harder to get since she didn't have an Amiibo.
And then that morning when Isabel said, "We have a new friend joining us today. Please welcome Judy to...." I screamed, took a picture and sent it to my group chat.

I was just island hopping now, I'm looking to find Sherb. I had two tickets and thought okay for now ill use these two and decide if I want to use more after.... the first island I got Punchy (very difficult to turn him down) and now for the second one I got money rock island and Audie!! I was in the market for a new peppy and I dont have any wolf villagers so his is great. Now having to get rid of someone else to look for Sherb again...

Running into Julian on my first NMT was quite the surprise. I wasn't even looking for him (or anyone really for that matter) and originally wasn't going to have him on my island because I didn't want to bring over too many dreamies from NL, but it was almost fate finding him so I just had to bring him back with me. I found Vivian on my first NMT too so that was a quick steal

The last time I went island-hopping, I was looking for an uchi villager because I had none. But I ran into Rolf! I was sooo surprised. Rolf was my favorite resident in New Leaf. So even though I already have a cranky (Wolfgang), I didn't need to think twice, I had to ask Rolf to come to my island. And now I see him every day. 
Out of all the new villagers, Audie was probably the only one I really wanted. And sure enough the game just gave her to me as one of the first 3 villagers to move into the house plots I set up. I don't care for her interior. I'm just glad to have her.
I also love how they named her after the grandma that logged tons of hours into new leaf. plus i love peppy villagers. prob my fav.
Few days ago i offered 20 NMT's for Beau but appearently someone bid higher in DM so I didnt got him, was a bit bumped. So after I decided to go Island hopping instead. First Island I found Dom (tempted, but tried again), second I found zucker (again; tempted) and the third Island I found Beau! Was so happy, did not expect to be that lucky!

Diana! she’s one of my favourite villagers and I found her after like 6/7 tickets
Most recently, Apollo. I really got an itch to have him in my town and I ended up finding him relatively quickly! Probably within 10-15 tickets or so. It was really exciting because I had never seen him before, even when I was hunting down Raymond a while back and took a lot of trips.
