Which should I get?

Okay, so my birthday is coming up soon (In october but there is a reason that I'm posting this so soon). I was planning on getting the New Nintendo 3DS Happy Home Designer Edition (The Japanese model, if they were going to release it in America.) but since they released the standard size one, I don't know what to do. I like the bigger screen, but I don't like how basic the new 3DS XL ones are. How much smaller is the standard size one compared to the NES 3DS XL (I currently own this one.)? I want to know so I can preorder one a head of time.

In terms of size, the New 3DS hardware should be slightly wider and longer than the vanilla 3DS, while being more comfortable to hold. The screens are also slightly larger than the very first model, which will no longer have you concentrate on squinting on the tiny screens. For some reason, the stylus is ridiculously thin.

If your hands get easily cramped while holding a vanilla 3DS, then you should consider getting any 3DS XL model.
