I, like many of you guys love Pokemon and own many of the main games. I'm curious to see how many people here own each game! ^.^ Also feel free to add a short little blurb about each game you own if you want (I love reading those kinds of things!)

I currently own the following (Click the Spoilers to see my blurbs if you like):

Bought this used off a local guy on the exact same day X and Y came out. It's also the game that first spiked my interest in the Pokemon games as I hung out with two kids at school when I was young who played Fire Red and Leaf Green together and it inspired me to get my own game.
Man this one is super special to me. After seeing those kids at school playing FR and LG I decided to get my own game, but being new to the series I had no idea which version to get so I asked someone (don't remeber who lol) which game I should get. They told me to get Emerald. So sure enough for Christmas I asked my Mom to get me Emerald. Boy I was disappointed that I couldn't have a Charizard xD I soon got over it though. Needless to say I fell in love with Emerald and the Pokemon series at the age of ten and haven't changed much since!
After struggling with the Elite Four in Emerald I was turned off Pokemon games for a couple years, but once I got over it I decided to buy Diamond. I could have bought Platnium at the time but for some reason it was Diamond that called my name.
I remember Hearing about the Gold and Silver remakes before they came out but I guess I was a bit busy at the time to get them when they first came out. A couple years later though I went to buy Soul Silver at Wamart and they had one copy left one! And no Heart Gold whatsoever. I felt super lucky. By the way this was my favourite DS era game so if you've never played it I suggest you do. It's great!
Due to getting Soul Silver late I was also late in getting this one. I actually got it just a few months after Soul Silver. It was an alright game. I was and still am not a real fan of the 5th gen style but hey it's still Pokemon.
I wasn't going to get this game after the original Black being alright but nothing special. But After I owned Pokemon X for a while and being such a big Pokemon fan I felt like I was missing out. In the end it wasn't really that much different from Black. It was also meh but hey a good time passer to say the least.
My main reason for buying a 3DS in July 2013 (well besides ACNL). The updated graphics and mechanics looked so amazing! A friend of mine got her X around launch and it made me want to buy it for myself even more, so I did. It's by far the game I'm spent the longest playing as I used it to complete my entire Pok?dex in.
I have never bought both versions of the same game before so I figured I'd give it a shot and buy Y. I mainly wanted Y because I had way too many hours of work into X to have the heart to restart it, and I really wanted to get the male customizations. It was great for a while but I don't really see the need for more than one version of the same Pokemon game. This will probably be the only Pokemon game that I own that I will be willing to sell some day.
Very first game I have ever bought at launch thanks to pre-order. I can't express how excited I was for this game! A remake of the game I started with! I am super pleased with what GameFreak has done just wow. My favourite new game right now that's for sure!
And before anyone asks I would have loved to own the original gen one and two games, but I was just a baby when Red and Blue came out here so I was too young at the time.

Green(the Japanese one). Sold most of games before when I needed money for a rare vinyl record :3

Just Diamond, White 2, X, and Alpha Sapphire. Diamond was my first main pokemon game (though I had both pokemon stadiums on the N64 growing up). I eventually played through the first, second, and third generations on an emulator (shhhh).

Pokemon Diamond, Soul Silver, White 2, X and Alpha Sapphire

CURRENTLY, I have Emerald, Diamond, White, X, and Alpha Sapphire. I did own Black 2, but I lost it. Goodbye Shiny Level 100 Porygon-Z that may have been hacked. ;_;

Yellow, Crystal, then all games from G3 onward. I used to own Red and Silver as well, but gave those to other people to play.

Blue, Red, Silver, Ruby, Pearl, Soul Silver, Black, Black 2, X, and Omega Ruby. It makes me very sad that I don't have Leaf Green or Fire Red. :( I really need to get one from that set! Unfortunately my save data from Silver is gone due to the common problem with the internal clock battery. Some of the Pokemon I have stored in my Poke Bank have been with me since I played the original Ruby. I remember buying Red years after receiving Blue just so I could get the Dome fossil as well as the Helix fossil. I didn't know anyone who had a Kabuto, and that was the only Pokemon I needed to complete my Pokedex at the time.

I own the following:
It was my first Pokemon game, however, I was stupid before and thought that any cartridge with a single game in it is legit. I spent so much time on this game, but it eventually got deleted. Years past, and I was able to buy a legit one from a friend who had it. It looks really beautiful with that transparent blue case and foil sticker. This was my first legit GBA Pokemon Game. I bought it for about $20.
As I said before, I was stupid when I was younger. So I also owned a bootleg copy of FireRed and spent a lot of time on it. This time it didn't get deleted. I gave it to my brother when I gave up Pokemon for some time and he deleted my file... I wasn't there to stop him because I was in Hong Kong at that time with my relatives, while he was back in our country with my parents. This is one of the games I played the most in my childhood and I was able to buy a legit copy just last year from a local person. Sadly, the cartridge casing is not in a good condition and the foil sticker is pretty beat up. I bought it for about $19.
This was one of the games I always wanted as a kid. I really wanted a legit copy since the bootleg copy I borrowed from my cousins always get deleted after the Pokemon League and that is when the most fun begin in Emerald. Eventually, when I kinda gave up on Pokemon, my parents got my brother a legit copy just because he kept complaining that the bootleg copy he had sucked. I got kinda jealous even if I had given up on Pokemon at that time. A few years later, when I got into Pokemon again, I was able to get a legit one from a classmate of mine. Sadly, he peeled off the sticker, but the cartridge works fine. I got it for less than $10.
I had learned how to RNG the summer of 2013, that is why I bought this game, so that I could learn to RNG in it, but the thing is, I still have not learned how to RNG in it :P I bought it from the same person I bought Sapphire from for about $20.
I got back into Pokemon in 2010 because I went to the local gaming store and saw HeartGold and SoulSilver. I have never played through any Johto game in the past so I decided to play it. I didn't buy legit games back then so I downloaded a copy of SoulSilver. I really enjoyed it and even gave a nostalgic feel even if I had never played through any Johto game before. In 2011, I got interested in Event Pokemon and started to go on forums to trade for them. I then thought to myself, I needed a legit game to store the Pokemon I traded for. I then decided to get HeartGold because I really enjoyed SoulSilver and wanted a Pokewalker. I spent a lot of time in this game with over 200+ hours of gameplay, not including resets in attempt to get a shiny legend. Ever since I bought this game, I've been buying legit Games. I really don't regret starting to buy Legit games. This was my first legit Pokemon Game.
Pretty much the same reason as HeartGold, I decided to buy it for storing Events I traded for. This was also the game I learned to RNG in. Most of the things I RNG come from this game. I also own a second copy of this game since I had a friend who no longer uses it so I asked for it. I use that file mainly for RNGing.
I bought this game after I learned how to RNG because I wanted to RNG the Pokemon that can only be caught in this game. I honestly have not been playing this game for quite some time, but was able to RNG some legends.
This was the game that got me to get a 3DS and also the first game I pre-ordered and got near release date. This was also the first Pokemon game that beat the gameplay time of my HeartGold. It has 300+ hours of gameplay and approaching 400 not including resets. It would be at 400+ including resets. This was a great change to the main series games because you no longer needed running shoes to run(always didn't make sense) and you can now walk diagonally. Graphics are also a great change shifting from 2D sprites to 3D. Breeding was greatly improved that you can get perfect Pokemon even without RNGing. Most of the time I spent playing was breeding. Battle Maison was also great that it is much easier to earn BPs than before making the things easier to buy.
Another game I have 2 copies of. A digital one and a Physical one. I got the Digital one last year from the promotion. My original purpose for it was to get the stuff I didn't get in X with it, but I ended up resetting it multiple times to get multiple versions of events. The Physical one is the most recent one I got. I bought it just Tuesday this week from a classmate. My main purpose for it is that I will be getting Powersaves sometime for cloning. I heard of the perils of Powersaves so I didn't want to mess up my main file so I got this.
The game I've been waiting years for. I got really excited when it was announced May last year. I finally get to relive my childhood in more modern graphics. I was glad to be able to dive and make secret bases again. I also got this game near launch date and also pre-ordered it. Upon playing it, I wasn't disappointed. It was extremely nostalgic, from the music to the layout of the region, everything. They also had also improve it very much from the originals, there is now more in game content than the original versions, while staying quite true to the originals. I also like how Reshiram can now be shiny. It was one of my favorite shinies, but was shiny locked. Sadly it's in Omega Ruby, but I got Alpha Sapphire as Sapphire was the first Pokemon game I played.
