Which lazy do I get in my second town: Jeremiah or Cube?

going for a tropical themed town! tropical fruits, hibiscus everywhere, blue, green and yellow villagers!

I like Jeremiah because he's really bright and that's what I'm looking for.. but I'm not too fond of frog villagers. I also just like the way Cube looks, his design is nice. I like his catchphrase more too, but of course, that can always be changed

I personally prefer Jeremiah anyway because Cube's always kind of scared me, but I think that he fits your theme better than Cube. I've never heard of a tropical penguin, have you?

It sounds like you prefer Cube over Jeremiah, so I'd say go with who you'd be most content with. I think Jeremiah would fit your village nicely; He's got a very vibrant coloring. But if you'd like to go with Cube, I'd say that'd work too. Even though we typically don't imagine penguins living in tropical areas, there's some on the galapagos islands so it's not too weird of a mental image when you consider that lol

I have Cube in my town and he's really cute. Plus, I don't really like Jeremiah's eyes although the rest of his design is pretty cool. Anyway, judging by what you said, I'd say you go with whoever you like more, who is Cube in this case.

Anyways, they are both cool. I had Cube in my first GameCube town a while back and he was pretty cool though he moved out. I have Jeremiah in my New Leaf town and just like Cube he is pretty cool as well though I plan on replacing him with Bob through plot resetting after Toy Day. It seems that you like Cube more so I'd say go with him instead.

I'm not overly keen on frogs either, but for a tropical town a penguin doesn't really fit. Plus I think Cube has crosses for eyes which is a bit freaky. He's nice tho, had him in accf.
I have Jeremiah in an acnl town & hes OK, fits a blue/green theme very well, has some expression, always nice to my characters (but then they all are). He gets my vote.

Jeremiah fits more traditionally into a tropical themed town, but if you're not that big of a fan of frogs than it might be better to just pick Cube since you like his design. If you want justification for including Cube, Galapagos penguins are a thing, so penguins in their entirety aren't exclusive to cold regions. Plus, Boomer was an island villager back in the GameCube game, so it doesn't seem that odd.

I love frogs, so I am biased towards Jeremiah. They are naturally colorful and in real life they play an important part in their ecosystems. The only reason I wouldn't let him in my town is because I fear he would want all my blue furniture.

Why not try both Villagers at the same time, and let the one you dislike leave? I was able to have three Normal Villagers all at the same time for a few weeks.

Jeremiah would be a perfect fit theme-wise but since you seem to like Cube better, I think you should pick him. Cube's not a bad choice for the theme either and it's much nicer to have villagers you actually like.

Jeremiah would be a better fit for a tropical town, but if you like Cube better, go for him! It's no fun playing with villagers that you don't like. It could also be an interesting challenge to make Cube blend into a tropical theme, too.

I picked Cube because I think he's so cute, but he doesn't really fit the theme of a tropical town. (Though, Penguins can be found in warm areas like South Africa, but hibiscus bushes are more like Hawaiian, definitely not African, so I think Jeremiah might be a better choice. I just think Cube is so cute!
