Which do you draw better: people or animals?

I'm currently drawing one of my OCs which is a quadrupedal alien creature, and it's made me think: I seem to be a lot better at drawing animala than people. It's probably because I've been practicing drawing animals since I was in 4th-5th grade. My people-drawing skills are okay, but not great. Meanwhile all you lovely artists on here draw people so well ughhh♡
I also notice there aren't a lot of people who don't accept anthro- or animal commissions (which happens to be what I'm really good at). I could prob open an art shop if people requested animals or anthro (but idk my commitment sucks lol).

So I'm wondering, which do you think you're better at drawing? Is your art skill more weighted in human or animal anatomy? It would be interesting for me to meet other members who have animal OCs too

Erm .... cartoons? Lol ... not aliens, although I have tried in the past ... well, more like Kid Icarus and Bowser drawings ... all my drawings are just lame cartoons of people, animals and AC characters.

Really though, I dislike modern realism usually, cartoons are sometimes manageable.

I think I'm generally better at drawing animals and other animal-like characters like Pokemon and such. Though even in that case the things I draw are mainly fictional and often not anatomically correct either. So I'd say I'm better at drawing cartoon stuff than realistic stuff. And most of all, I'm not good at drawing human anatomy at all. I've given it a shot multiple times but I have a lot to learn.

I'd say people because I get a lot more practice drawing them over practice drawing animals. There's just so many different types of animals that you just gotta keep drawing one species to really get the hang of it. Though my art isn't that great or dynamic, I'm definitely better at drawing people.

tbh if you opened an anthro shop i could see people commissioning you for anthros of villagers and stuff, the way you draw animals is really clean and cute!

i don't have any animal ocs but i'd love to learn how do properly draw animals that aren't just like... cats and dogs (which i can't draw that well in the first place lol) or ac villagers, i love seeing art with humans and animals interacting with each other so i'd love to be able to do that for myself

While I mainly draw people on here for people, I honestly think I'm better at drawing animals. I don't really like drawing realistic people, and I only like drawing anime girls (who doesn't haha!)... fur is much easier. Since I never upload animal art , well.... non villager art I'll post an example here..... but also some other cute pics I saw in my sketchbook haha

I'm alright at both animals and people.... until you get to their faces. So I would say 50/50.

i do technically have a longer reportoire drawing animals for my job/s overall, but have done studies n more detailed practices in human/anatomy drawin so mm
