Which Animal Crossing game portrayed seasons changing the best?

Out of all the Animal Crossing games, which game do you think had the best portrayal of the changing seasons (like changing grass and trees)?

In my opinion, I think ACNL did it the best, especially in the fall months. During the first week, the grass and trees are as dark green as they were in July and August. But once the month goes by, it gets lighter and yellower in color until yellow dominates green. It then becomes yellow-orange in mid-October, orange in early November, red in mid-November, and finally brown in late November.

I agree with you, it's New Leaf. All of the changes of the grass, going light green to dark green, to yellow to orange, to gray/dead until snow arrives. New Leaf really made me feel the changing of the seasons when our own seasons didn't make me feel it.
