Voted for Fantasy Life, Kid Icarus Uprising and Mario Kart 7. I'd imagine that you'd like HHD if you liked NL, but it's not out here yet so I'm not comfortable recommending it yet.
Personally I'd recommend Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate as the #1 choice, it blows every other 3DS game out of the water with the amount of potential playtime you could get out of it providing you play it to the end on both singleplayer and multiplayer, I'd say maybe around 250 hours minimum, and if you aim to get absolutely every quest done, around 600 hours which extends to 1000+ hours if you decide to craft and master the use of each weapon type. Then there's the fact that in terms of graphics, it's one of the nicest games the 3DS has to offer, just look at some of the screenshots of it, and you'll see what I mean. Be prepared for a challenge if you do intend on playing and finishing it, but it is a game that feels rewarding as you get better.
Honourable mentions also go to Bravely Default which if you like (grindy) RPGs, is a rather nice choice. Pok?mon OR/AS also, which of course speak for themselves if you've played any of the other games in the series, personally I enjoyed it more than X/Y, although my main criticism of the game is there should really be more post-game content (besides a dozen legendaries to catch).
