I'm kind of bored with my 3DS because I haven't gotten a new game since October 2013. Does anyone have any recommendations, preferably stuff that's already out or will be out by mid-September? Btw I'm not strongly considering everything I put on the poll, I just put everything that sounded like a legitimate game (based on the title lol) there.

My 3DS Games: Pokemon Rumble Blast, Pokemon X, OoT 3D, FE:A, ACNL

I'll say Story of Seasons, Happy Home Designer and Kirby Triple Deluxe. C:

If you haven't gotten Mario 3D Land yet, you should really consider getting that.
Its fun, great replay, the game is twice as long as you'd expect it to be, and its got a very good flow to it.

Other good ones to consider are the main Nintendo staples:
LBW, DKCR, SSB are all really good.
It all really depends what you're a fan of most, but all 3 of those are worth getting at some point too.

I havent seen majoras mask on the list but if you have ocarina of time but havent played majoras mask yet i HIGHLY reccommend it :D I voted for a link between worlds which is another great game as well or pokemon omega ruby/sapphire either one works but i see you have pokemon x anyways xD Super smash bros would be good but if you have the wii u version it should be fine :p

With a paltry 3DS gaming library like that, you're certainly missing out a lot on some of the best 3DS offerings so far.

If you aren't going to purchase a Wii U, Super Smash Bros. for 3DS is a solid choice for a fighting game. A Super Smash Bros. game on a portable system? Sign me up!

Another great choice would be Kid Icarus: Uprising from the same creator of Super Smash Bros. and Kirby. If you can get hang with the somewhat unorthodox controls efficiently enough without resorting to a stand, you'll find that the controls are quite precise, a lot of replay value for an action game and a multiplayer (both local and online) just in case you're tired of the single-player content. This is quite possibly the best value you could possibly ask for a 3DS game.

Super Mario 3D Land is an interesting game as well, especially if you don't have a Wii U console to play Super Mario 3D World. It's a game that utilize the 3D effects very effectively and it still have a great solid gameplay that comes with it, just like many other Super Mario games.

Hankering for a top-down perspective Zelda game? The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds has you covered with flying colors! If you prefer a faster-paced Zelda game instead of your usual 3D Zelda, this is the game to go for.

Looking for something more unusual? Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is just another fantastic 3DS game to add in your gaming library. Not only it addresses all of the problems that the original Luigi's Mansion had over a decade ago, but also throw a multiplayer mode as a fun addition and surprisingly, it even has online in it too! And 3D effects are also quite well-utilized, despite not being able to use the motion controls.

I recommend ORAS, 3DLand, and Luigi's Mansion. They're some of the best 3DS titles in my opinion.

ORAS, Smash. Those are the best 2 games besides AC:Nl. I prefer smash on Wii U but its perfect if you dont have the money to get it/ dont have it. For OR/AS you could always wait till next year to get the next pokemon game and get a different game.

I voted for you to get Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Pokemon ORAS, Super Smash Brothers 4 for the 3DS, Kid Icarus Uprising, and Yoshi's New Island ;)

I found A Link Between Worlds a really compelling game, so if you're looking for something with more action/adventure, then go for it. Another one I'd recommend is Pokemon OR/AS; I may be a little biased since I'm a huge fan of the entire franchise, but I enjoyed this game really fun and it gets bonus points for the nostalgia! I also voted for Happy Home Designer haha, I haven't played it yet so voting for it could be considered cheating, but I'm really excited for the release in Europe + it's yet another franchise I'm dedicated to so. ;)
I used to be a huge fan of Harvest Moon too, but I got A New Beginning at the same time as New Leaf and I just couldn't get into this one and I didn't find myself enjoying it as much as I did with the GBA and DS games (my favourites were More Friends of Mineral Town and Island of Happines). But I know that it got high scores online, so maybe I'm just biased. I heard that Fantasy Life is similar to HM in the way the game works, so maybe you should try that too? I haven't played it yet, but I heard a lot of good reviews, so I'm thinking of getting it for myself soon.

I voted for these:
-Animal Crossing HHD - self-explanatory as you'll see on this Animal Crossing forum lol
-Kid Icarus Uprising - my favourite game and really great, I'd definitely recommend this
-Zelda A Link Between Worlds - although I thought I only like the 3D-esque Zelda games, this is a really fun 2D style one. The painting mechanic is really inspired too and fun to use.
-Mario Kart 7 - typical Mario Kart, nice to play
-Ace Attorney Dual Destinies - get this OR get the Ace Attorney Trilogy which is 3 games in one and for the price of one. The character development in either game is amazing and the stories are very compelling. It's mainly text and story based so don't expect to be mashing buttons like in an action game but expect to be on edge for what happens next since things get turned on their head a lot.
-Pokemon OR/AS - a very nice game and since you have a Pokemon game, you should find it good
-Super Smash Bros - I don't find myself playing this too often but it is a really nice game to have and play

I'd say Happy Home Designer. You'd have to wait a month, but it would be worth it because everyone will be playing it.

In the meantime, play ACNL to get you pumped for the game!

What do you think to a gaming library of 313 games? I know someone who owns that many.

Well, I actually poorly worded on that sentence. I was referring to the topic creator's library of 3DS games.

Also, why is there so many users recommending Happy Home Designer even though they haven't played it yet, let alone seeing an English build of it? I know this is Animal Crossing, TBT is mostly about that particular franchise and it's new, but that is plain unfair! There's no way it could outrank a lot of the 3DS games mentioned in the poll.
