Where's Leif?

I just got the PWPs in Chrome, so I decided to do the same in Celadon... But he wasn't at my plaza! I'm sure I saw him when I played this morning. His shop is closed for the event, though. Are the items in the way?

I guess he just leaves (Leifs) at 7 PM or somethig.

Before 7pm, I was playing on my second character and saw Leif still in the plaza. When I switched to my mayor it was after 7 and he was no longer there. I guess he doesn't stick around all day?

Yes, he's gone at 7. It's confusing because he's not at his garden shop either.
