Hello everyone! I'm just sort of curious -- where did you put your cafe, and why? I finally got the request for it, but I have no idea where to place it in my town! Did you place it for convenience, aesthetic, or something else? )
Mine's wedged in the narrow space between the bottom of my town's plaza and the cliff overlooking the ocean. I'm very glad I put it there, it looks great.
I put mine near the cliff, next to the waterfall. It's also kinda near the Town Hall. The placement of it is a little weird though because I think it's not really even in relation to the cliff.
Thank you all so much for the ideas! I ended up placing mine near an open cliff -- I hadn't even considered doing that before. I tried to leave enough space to also put a fountain near it once it's built. I'd love to keep hearing/seeing where y'all put your cafes, though! xx
In one of my towns I was able to put it in between retail and city hall. There was enough room for the police station.
I had a nice long section in front of those buildings to add a fountain and a tulip topary.
Another I put it on the left side of the event plaza. The river is below and there was enough room for a Archway, streetlamp, outdoor chair and the light up tree.
Third town I put it behind the mayor house. City hall is next to the mayor house and a short walk up to retail. There was enough room for flowers and a nice pathway.
Just put the fourth one in my newest town. I picked a town with 3 ponds. There is a pond below and to the left of the caf?. It worked out perfect with the pathway pass it. The middle bridge pathway runs all the way up to the train station. Enough space to place flowers and add a small PWP next to it. There is a bench and lamp down the pathway. It's close to retail and city hall. The police station just got added between city hall and retail. It looks like a real town once the Caf? went in.

I think the U is a perfect place for the cafe. x
