When does nook's cranny store front change?

the snow is gone but nook's cranny is still decorated for winter, does anyone know when this will change?

I think it's a seasonal thing, since it's still winter the decoration from before are still there until spring.

the snow is gone so i figured that meant the game considers this spring. pretty weird to get rid of the snow but leave the christmas decorations up

Every season is different depending on which hemisphere you have your island in (North or South).
