I like combining sets. I also have a few original themed rooms.

I plan on making a room that's nothing but TVs and clocks!

I generally get full sets and then fill in a few details where I feel the room is empty.

Only exception to that rule is my kitchen room, where I used regal, ranch and minimalist items along with some random kitchen and food crap.

I still need to finish one of my rooms and come up with something for the top floor. That's currently just being used as storage.
