what's your go to scent? (smell exposure 2 electric boogaloo)

so what kind of scents do you like to use? what's your go-to body wash and perfume/cologne? what kind of air freshener do you like to use (if any)?

my favourite body wash to use is Axe's Phoenix, it's fresh and has a nice hint of mint to it. I also like Suave's cocoa butter, it's a cheaper body wash but I love how it smells hehe. for body mist, my favourite to use is B&BW's "Hello Beautiful", it has a lovely floral scent. and as for air freshener, there's a Febreze scent called "Cranberry Air" and I love it so much! it's a seasonal scent but I'll definitely be buying more when the holiday season approaches!

edit: I should add, though, that my favourite scent is citrus! I love anything that is citrus/pineapple scented

I voted Fresh and Floral. I think vanilla counts as floral as well since it is technically a flower. I also voted for spicy because there wasn't a woodsy option. I love the smell of bark. It sounds weird but that's why I voted spicy....because cinnamon is also a bark. Think about the smell of real Christmas trees and you'll know what I mean.

I added that poll option for you and I put vanilla under warm because, at least to me, I don't really think of vanilla when I think of floral scents.

Lol I use Dove unscented.
When unscented isn't available for whatever reason at the store, I get this variety pack that has some cucumber concoction, a lavender concoction, and a mango concoction. I do not like the mango one at all but it's what I have at the time.
I don't wear perfume/cologne.
For candles and oils scents I like cinnamon, vanilla, and fruity stuff. I think Lavender is the odd ball one I like (the only flower).
Incense scents I am more open to, I think it's because I often associated them with having stronger and more earthy scents as the norm. But black cherry which again is fruity is awesome.

I can't really handle strong scents, especially if they're too perfumey. I used to love different scents, but now I prefer less.

My usual stuff is coconut/vanilla/cocoa butter type lotions, not too strong. I like the native coconut/vanilla deodorant, but not the lotion in the same scent. Other than deodorant/lotion though, I don't use anything other scents.

I voted fresh and fruity, although I really don’t like most fruity for a favorite, but I absolutely adore citrus. I love the smell of lemon and when we get candles, I always tend to get lemon sugar, or some kind of an orange scent. I also put other because when it comes to my favorite scents, if I could have my house smell like gumbo, garlic, bread, and boiled crawfish, oh my God, that would be my go to ha ha ha!!!

Oh yeah, I meant to mention all of my body wash stuff tends to be citrus as well. Whether it be pink lemon mandarin, which is the one I’m using right now and I’ve been on that one for quite a while or even our handsoap is grapefruit. Oh my gosh, I can’t even talk about how much I adore grapefruit

As for soap I just get what's cheaper but I have a preference for citrus or basic soapy-smell lol. I also love coconut scented body wash.

oops i answered this in the other thread already. i like fruit scents but also enjoy floral scents and whatever the hell old rich ladies smell like. there's a few Ubers in the morning that take me to work that have incredible smelling perfume and stuff.

I like forest and ocean smells the most, then spicy smells like anise, cinnamon, ginger. I have a lot of mint in the garden and in spring when the snow is melting, it smells very good.

Fresh, Warm and Floral. I love most flowery scents Rose is my all time favourite flower scent, however I do have a disliking for Lavender. Maybe it's just the one brand I tried, it smelt so strong I would swear I could taste it. I also adore Vanilla scents. I love waking up during warm summer night and smelling the scent I sprayed before I went to bed.

I love scents! I was gonna throw this into my topic but here is more appropriate HEHEHE.

My favorite scent to wear is B&BW's "Chasing Fireflies". It's floral with a hint of woodsy and I LOVE it. Anything with berries or jasmine and I'm probably going to adore it. But tbh I love something from almost every category. I'd say the sort of smells I like the least are gourmand (food/bakery scents), but that's because they trick my brain into thinking there's something tasty, but there ISN'T, and that's such a betrayal to me.

I like to pair floral with Spring, fruity with Summer, spices with Fall, and woodsy with Winter, although my mood takes precedence. Like for instance, sometimes ya just gotta pull out those spooky Halloween candles when playing a horror game for the atmospheric effect

As a child/teen I never really cared for scents; smell was the most boring sense to me. As an adult I'm obsessed. Switching out a new scent can help brighten my mood when I'm feeling down, and I love doing things like pairing smells to environments when playing DnD with others or video games by myself. Oh, we're traversing through a dense forest? TIME TO PULL OUT THOSE PINE WALL SMELLERS

During the warmer months I like using coconut or beachy scents, lavender, or just anything that smells like fresh linen. I love woodsy and warm scents too and gravitate more toward those during fall and winter. I have a vanilla/coffee perfume I'll switch to soon as it gets colder but I've been trying to find a good one that smells like rain!

Alrighty... so, as somebody with a very sensitive sense of smell.. most scents trigger my migraines. Floral scents seem to be the worst. HOWEVER... I DO LOOOOOVE fruity/candy-like scents. My go-to body spray is from Bath and Body Works. It was part of their Christmas collection a few years back. It's called Cotton Candy Champagne. It is my absolute favorite. It is not overwhelming to me and makes me smell super good! I also wish they'd put their Caramel Pumpkin Swirl scent into a body spray. I have several candles of this scent... lol.

Smells I like on other people though.. my boyfriend always smells so good! He used to use Ralph Lauren Polo Black, and it was MY FAVOOOOOOOORITE on him! It apparently has 'iced mango, silver armoise, and patchouli noir'. It smells soooo good, auhhgh... He's moved on to other colognes, but this one was my absolute favorite. He used to spray my blankets and plushies with them so I wouldn't miss him too much, while he'd be away on vacations. :3
