Just recently learned there is more to keyboard switches than just the average blue clicky ones and the mushy brown ones. I've been using a prebuilt keyboard with some off-brand browns for over a year now because they were said to be the "quiet ones." I am personally a big fan of the tactile feel in the MK switches but I have always disliked the loud noises that come from the MKs. (I've ever understood the noise appeal...) So after I did some asking on Reddit and looking around, I found some custom switches called the Boba U4s. These bad boys are just about silent and the best part is, they keep that tactile feel that I love. I haven't tried many switches other than reds, blues, and browns so this is definitely a huge improvement from those.
Oh and I forget to mention that I even took 3 hours out of my day to lube these switches with some of that Krytox 0G 205. They're butter smooth now
Anyways, does anyone here have any personal switch love or preference they'd like sharing?
