The first time I saw Audie I liked her, but now as I see her more and more she just gets kind of, well, annoying. I can get how you might like her, I mean, girly wolf with eyeshadow and sunglasses, what's not to like? But that's not what I'm talking about. I just want to know why you guys like her. She's not even that different from Freya, and I like both of them, but... Audie's just sort of unappealing to me.

She's peppy, which is a new personality for the wolves. She's new to the series in general, so people want her because she's someone they've never seen before in other games. And she has a cute design.

I'm sorry to all of the Audie lovers out there but she's really REALLY plain to me aaaah
I personally don't understand the hype around her design. I understand the hype around her for the fact that she's new and has no amiibo card, but her design is really boring for me to look at.
edit: the backstory surrounding her name is absolutely adorable and I love it, but I personally wouldn't care to have her on my island

i was lucky enough to get audie as my random move in for my first three, and i've adored her since. i've never really enjoyed the peppy personality in previous games, but for some reason, audie's different? yeah, she can be brash and obsessed with being a pop star, but she's such a social butterfly. she gets along really well with the villagers on my island, and she's always giving gifts and calling my player her best friend. i kinda view her as the annoying but lovable little sister on the island
I think she's really cute but I don't feel like I have to have her or anything. If she was easily and readily available maybe I'd invite her to live with me but otherwise not a big deal. I've had Raymond twice before and I also really like him but I certainly do not NEED him. They're cool villagers but I don't understand the hype that other people have for them. I currently have Dom in my town and I honestly like him a little more than Raymond and Audie at this point. He's probably my new favorite jock.

Audie is far from my favorite but I agree that she is nice to look at. For me personally her coloring is so vibrant with a nice contrast. Also since the game is themed around island life her sunglasses and tropical vibes make her a natural match. Especially now that you can plonk villager houses on the beach.
As far as Freya comparisons... she just pops more. I initially thought they were too similar but after seeing her in game... nah.
It's also neat she's named after a rad grandma.
I won't ever have her as a permanent resident as she doesn't match my vibes and I prefer other animals but I understand why she's so popular.

her design doesn‘t bother me, but it’s sorta plain. i only like her vibrant colors ;_; when she was on my island, she was always working out, wherever she was. her interior is cool though, it’s very tropical for all those people doing an island based on that
