Name some things you didn't understand the first time you played it?

In my first town (Mayor Anna of Puppy) I watered a weed for days because I thought it was a flower sprouting. I also made all my paths into water QR paths instead of regular ones. And my town flag (I thought it was amazing at the time) I it got back in my dream town and it looks so silly. I was 8 when I first got the game. I've gone through THREE (yes three) copies of the game and oh so many towns. I lost my first copy and still can't find it. I got a digital copy because I didn't want o lose it but my 3Ds broke. And I have my 3rd copy. Nothing has happened to it yet (yet lmao)

And I also picked all the flowers and fruit in my town to get money. I'm not joking. ALL of them. I was so mad when no fruit was there the next day >:v

For the life of me I couldn't tell if Bangle was a girl or a boy until I talked I saw her name was pink

I ate my first perfect pear and wasn't able to get any perfect pear trees in my town until like a year later. Also, I tried to pick wilted flowers because I thought they were a new color or something. But I don't think that quite tops what you did. XD

I think I believed that if you sent a villager a red rose in a letter, in ACWW it'd make them be able to have a romantic relationship with your character and would make them fall in love with them LOL. Obviously it proved to be untrue because when i'd sent the letter to one of my villagers, they had sent back a reaaaally generic reply. LOL. I don't think I didn't anything else too nooby since my sister was playing the game before I was, so she taught me all the basics such as the rules of flowers etc. I never did anything nooby in new leaf certainly since I was watching a couple of japanese livestreams/videos on new leaf before it was released in the UK so I knew what to do and what not to do.

I didn't know running over flowers could destroy them, and I trampled my first (and so far only, because beautiful town) golden rose.

I'm not sure anything I did is quite a good as watering a weed....
I remember that I used to think sending villagers letters with certain words in would prompt them to do whatever it was I had written. So when I wanted none native fruit before I joined these boards I used to send them letters with just single words 'apple' or 'orange' and tried to influence them to move out with 'move' and 'leaving'....
Obviously none of it worked....

Lol, yeah I of course wrote 'pls move' and stuff to peeps I hated haha. Sometimes it "worked" but I highly doubt it was because of my letters...
